Got Big Ben yesterday and loved the mask head so much that it deserved its own figure

 

Recipe is a real kitbash:

- body/legs is a McFarlane Ron Weasley figure

- Arms from a Marvel Legends Red Skull, connected to the above figure via shoulder cut

- hands from my spare Marvel Legends parts, no clue who they were from but they're extras

- camo outfit from WWE Elite figures (top from Mr. T Elite, pants from a recent DX Legends release)

- backpack from a Star Wars Black Series Jedha Stormtrooper

- weapon (acting as a geiger counter) from Marvel Legends Civil War Warmachine

- Head from Big Ben!

I don't have a pic, and not sure it's worth it, but I swapped Grunt and Falcon from the neck up. Grunt looks like a good average face for Falcon, while that weird Charlie McCarthy face can go to a character I have far less interest in. It's also a bit more covered by the helmet.

I tried trimming down Falcons cheeks, seems to help a little, but the sculpt is so soft.

  Recent Avengers (60th?) Black Widow Legends head on Cover Girl, the head socket is a touch too large but it's not that bad even without a filler: 

  Kicking myself for not picking one up when I had the chance. It seems there is 2 types of head sculpts.     I tried trimming down Falcons cheeks, seems to help a little, but the sculpt is so soft.

I had the Target Excl Black Widow on pre-order but had to cancel, shocked to see how quickly it sold out everywhere. Kicking myself as well, I just recently bought that Black Widow on Mercari with a $10 off coupon. Total was just $4 over retail with taxes & shipping. Look around and you might just find a good deal on one.

The jean vest I ordered from ebay arrived yesterday and it looks like its going to work, but I can't get Roadblocks vest off. Has anyone found a way to remove roadblock V1's vest without cutting it off?

heat him up and pop off the arms. you will still need to work the vest up but it be easier with heating it up

 

Thanks for the tip. I looked at this and I think I am more concerned with compromising the integrity of the the arm joints and butterflies than preserving the vest. So I guess I'll cut it off after all. The jean vest fits even over the current vest, which looks ridiculous, but demonstrates there is no need to preserve the ability to revert the figure back to its original state as this experiment in innovation and laziness is shaping up to be a success.

fyi, Crimson Baroness heads fit on the Retro/CI version of Baroness if you swap the neck with a movie Baroness. The necks swap with no trouble at all and the ball joint on movie Baroness neck (for the heads) is the same size as Crimson Baroness.

Anybody know of any flame effects available anywhere? Tryna get my various BATs kitted out.

@spongyblue I've been using the flame effect from the deluxe Black series Boba Fett. you will have to heat it up so it will go around the barrel. But it works with very little effort.

Torch is supposed to come with a flame effect also. I do want to find something for a laser effect for obviously the laser attachment. I don't think it should be the normal blast effect.

Can of Beams currently has some blood effects for the SHF Chainsaw man figure for order, and I wonder about if they would work with Buzzer's chainsaw.

Does anyone know if the hair pieces from Shooter will fit on the Crimson Baroness heads? Or does anyone know of someone making reproductions of the Crimson Baroness hair? Sucks that she came with 3 heads but only 2 hair pieces.

@snake-eyes-8181 reminder that these blast effects from Hasbro tend to remove paint off of whatever they're touching if left for too long.  I can't say it will happen for sure on your Destro but just a heads up.   I might recommend a layer of plastic wrap between the two plastics.

Does anyone have a picture of Shooter holding/aiming the sniper rifle from Valaverse weapons pack Foxtrot?  And could also tell me if it fits on her back-harness (pic of that would be cool, too).  Thanks!
