I'm surprised to hear people think Cover Girl is mediocre - I think it's a fantastic figure.

It's entirely the face, it looks off and cartoony compared to the better face sculpts.

I just got Falcon for a little cheaper than retail. Definitely swapping out the head though.. he reminds me of those puppets from that old tv show Stingray.

I don’t have a problem with Cover Girl. I’m not personally into the whole “contoured internet influencer makeup” thing going on but I get why they did it, in the spirit of her being a former model and all. She definitely looks model-esque, she even has the “duck face” thing going on. It fits the character and provides contrast with other female characters. I dig that characters wearing makeup aren’t all wearing the same kind of makeup.

That said: I’d be all for a MASS Device-inspired, “blond grease-monkey” version as well.

I have just a gut feeling that Hasbro is planning to release the Wolverine at retail with a Cover Girl without the Covergirl makeup and include removable hairpiece so you can swap out the red hair with blonde or even a third hairpiece. Possibly slightly different colors on the uniform. New weapons load out that makes her different enough from the single release.

OK that was pretty much just a wishlist because I would still buy a Wolverine without a driver, but if Hasbro included all that extra stuff in a new Covergirl with the Wolverine, I would be so ever happy. 

I'm a huge Covergirl fan. She's my absolute favorite Joe, and the only disappointment I felt was that it didn't live up to the render.

She'll always have short brown hair on my shelf, but I have to imagine there's a blonde version coming with whatever Wolverine they offer. 

So are those Mad Marauders leaks legit?  If so definitely in for them. Never had Marauders Sarge  or LowLight and Spirit in those colors. They look kinda snazzy.

Those Marauders figures look awesome!  if those are indeed real, I want them.  Especially that Sarge.

@leor According to The Full Force Podcast, who has a friendly relationship with Lenny and Emily from the Joe team at Hasbro, these are legit.  So I guess we'll see sometime.  I don't know if they will get revealed at the next livestream (supposedly at the end of this month).  They could still be a ways off.

Some interesting things pointed out about the reveals.

First, it looks like they are changing up the packaging again. These boxes look new in both colour and design. Nothing too far off what we already have, but definite differences. Also I think they might be mock up packages. The GI Joe logo on the two pack looks too small and off centre. Also it leaves a whole lot of black "dead space" underneath it and to the right (our right).

Second. Interesting accessory choices for both pieces. Sgt. Slaughter looks to be getting his accessories, but it looks like they are also giving him some of Big Boa's accessories as well. I see the boxing gloves (in blue) and the weights.

The two pack is even more interesting. As was stated already it looks like Low-Light has lost his sniper accessories in favour of the Zartan one. Second it looks like both of them are getting different back packs from what they originally came with, and finally a new "pet" for Spirit with "Niyol." He looks like either a different type of eagle, or possibly a vulture.

I thought it was a big raven. Google says Niyol means "wind," so no clues there. 

Nice that these are legit then.  They are different enough for me to buy them “again”. And yeah, hopefully they are not exclusives and are main line releases but somehow I have a feeling they will be exclusives. Barring Marauders Barbecue whose normal figure was a Target exclusive, don’t most Classified repaints end up being exclusives?  Maybe Amazon this time?  Just not Walmart. At least with Target, I’ve seen TF. I haven’t ever seen any Nightforce at my Walmarts.

Slaughter looks terrible in that pic.  Like those old thumb wrestlers.  😆 

I've never been a huge Sgt Slaughter fan -  so that figure is sort of whatever for me.   But I really like the different looks for Low Light and Spirit.   The two pack will be a must.   I'll probably grudgingly pick up the Sarge too, since it is his team after all.
