my man.. that's exactly how it needs to be done, my boy.I’d honestly rather the SNAKE was a fully-articulated robot figure, with an option to remove/flip up the “head” and have a universal joint inside to accept Classified heads to simulate “armor”.
Hasbro could just install a Cobra Trooper head in there and call it a day. Alternatively, install a “generic” head inside, and make the “glass” faceplate smoked or frosted or tinted, so you can make out the suggestion of a pilot head, without it being specific.

Mine is bigger and more beefy than a Hasbro one would be. I did the same for a HISS. Mine is definitely not high speed sentry, more like a lumbering giant a huge club or Ogre for short.

@prophet Yeah that makes my mind up even more about the SNAKE.
That does not look good next to the Classified figures. I like the size of it and think something that size would be a good choice for an updated SNAKE.
However seeing that in the pic, while nicely done, it makes it even more evident to me that the original SNAKE design doesn't translate well to modern times and 6" scale. I would hope they do something more modern with a few old school design cues.
The snake armor barely even fit in with the vintage figures.
I think the SNAKE armor worked fine for the 80s. It’s dated for sure. I don’t care. I love it as a piece in my collection. I mean when BATs came along SNAKEs were obsolete. I’ve kicked around making the Cobra giant robots. I’ve seen some awesome customs especially from that 12” or was it 14”(?) Zurg figure.
So 2/6 Classified livestream? Preorder for SMS? Digital renders of Nemesis Immortal? Doc, Jinx, Torch, Night Creepers…a few more digital render options for name only reveals.
I’m just about caught up so I can buy into a few more.

Yeah, I personally don't care if they just make a 1 to 1 update of the SNAKE or completely update it and make it some sort of Halo 4/5 Mantis-style mech with some SNAKE design cues, it was one of the things I had as a kid and so I want to see some representation of it in my Classified collection.
I mean, the FANG was also completely ridiculous, and I'd buy the heck out of one of those, too.

id be shocked if that isn’t announced before Spring 2025. I’m thinking the current year may be spoken for in vehicles: VAMP, SMS, Ferret, Haslab, and a couple other rumored vehicles (repaints I bet). They may surprise me.

After clicking that link and seeing the swamp.skier, yeah I definitely need a swamp skier.
Should the Fang come with a removable cockpit to alternate between updated and classic looks? I always felt sorry for any Cobra trooper that had to fly that thing. The headwind alone must have been murder and that’s not even counting the bugs or birds that that flew in the path.
