And USS Flagg rumors, but I digress…..

Can you imagine...

To be the same scale as the 1/18th version for a 1/12th collection it would need to be over 11 feet long.   It's hard to see that happening.

Of course to be in scale as an actual 1/12th aircraft carrier it would need to be 90 feet long so..

This thread needs more Sky Hawk rumors. And Cobra Claw rumors.

And USS Flagg rumors, but I digress…..

You mean you haven’t heard?  Haslab is going to do a 1:12 Flagg.  You’ll just have to mortgage your house for the down payment. 🤡

Then you’ll have to clear out a whole floor of your home just to display it. 😱

Rumors are fun aren’t they?   In case anyone took this post seriously, it’s not serious.  I can hear the sound of breaking hearts already.

A 1:12 scale aircraft carrier would be 91 feet long.

@canprime Regarding the SNAKE armor, I'd like something redesigned.  I wouldn't mind the original, but I'd probably prefer something a bit more modern and mech-y.  If nothing else, I imagine the Classified team would make something more solid and less floppy than the original.

@leor A Sky Hawk is my number one want for Classified vehicles.  I love the Anniversary line's slight update to it.  I'd buy at least a couple Classified ones.  Maybe it could come with Lift-Ticket, who also came with the Anniversary one.   I don't see a Classified Tomahawk happening, so the Sky Hawk may be a good release avenue for him.

I sure can definitely imagine a 1:12 Flagg……….taking up my entire back yard. Lol.

But seriously, this may be something to consider in the future. Do we really need to make the Flagg for Classifieds 1:12?  I’d think this one of the bigger play sets that should be bigger that their original 1:18 counterpart but not  90+ feet long. Big enough to fit some Classifieds vehicles and figures. That in itself is still a challenge. But someone in here before mentioned the stackable option for storage. Like the Flagg can separate at certain sections and you can stack them on top of each other in a corner of your room to save space. And since you can take away pieces of the run deck, you can assemble a midget 6foot Flagg. Or heck, maybe Hasbro can make buying multiple pieces of the deck optional, so some guy with like 2acres of land can assemble a 90+ foot long Flagg.

But even if the Flagg is not possible……where are the  SKY HAWKS gawdammit!! Lol

I consider the Sky Hawk the most iconic Joe vehicle. I definitely would buy one.

I want SNAKE armor too. As long as they have the legs actually attach to the armor I'd be satisfied.

But I think the real way to modernise it is to make it slightly bigger and have the pilot *sit* in the torso. That would let the legs be their own, articulated design.

As for the Flagg, I'd formed the opinion back in the 4" days that it could be redone as just a flight tower and roll-up vinyl flight deck. Maybe a crane or tow vehicle or whatever, but ultimately something that could be stored away.

Maybe that same idea could work in 1/12. I'm not sure how big even just the tower would be in that case, though, so maybe not.

I'll also repeat my opinion that USS Flagg should be an LHD rather than a carrier. That influences the scale in my eyes too.

Going with that vinyl idea somewhat. A Flagg where the the deck is inflatable?  Deflate it and roll up the deck to save space. Inflate it and it can float in the pool?  Hmm…..

I’d honestly rather the SNAKE was a fully-articulated robot figure, with an option to remove/flip up the “head” and have a universal joint inside to accept Classified heads to simulate “armor”.

I'm down for that design choice. I loved the look, but hated the lack of mobility of the original.

Pooh!  Knew it was coming because the date kept getting pushed back, but my order for the Snow Serpents got cancelled.  Since I'm no longer getting a discount on this particular figure, I think I'll just get 1 now and consider it a unique personality.  Been wanting to start doing that w/ABs for a while now.

The Sky Hawk? That was definitely a coveted vehicle for me growing up. I didn’t have any flying vehicles for Joes, I had the Fang for Cobra. The Sky Hawk was small enough to be affordable and to handle. I didn’t want a Skystriker or a Dragonfly or a Conquest. Sky Hawk would have been ideal for my collection as a kid.

Wow, so instead of a cool, wacky toy design, I can get a (somewhat) mini representation of a civilian APC for the violently rich. Awesome, love this dystopian capitalism for Snake Eyes.

What exactly is the market for this? It's a boring, ugly design that's not in scale with the more toyetic vehicles from the line it's trying to big time. Do people need toys for their doomsday bunkers?

This post just had me picturing a real life Cobra Commander driving one cutting people off in traffic while screaming into his cell phone at someone. I have zero interest in the toy but I can't help laughing at how CC has violently rich Karen vibes to him in the right story.

"Move, you foolsssss! The children are late for ssssssoccer practissssse!"

These couple of comments almost made me snort coffee out of my nose. Perfect. 10/10. No notes.

I swear I'm now compelled to turn my unused IG account into a series of CoKaren Commander skits with little word bubbles as he's freaking out about getting the wrong non-dairy creamer in his Starbucks. I need a silly distraction and haven't done any action figure photography in like two years, feels like a cure for winter blues.
