Might be running a bit behind everyone else, but Wolf Spider shipped from Walmart this morning. I think this gets me shockingly all caught up on Walmart preorders.
I happen to be on the middle of building these and other things for a project and trying to get them at low cost. It was like fate.BBTS has BATs and Crimson BATs at 15 on sale atm if anyone still needs more.
I have lots of BATs and I was tempted to get more at $15. I decided to skip them this time. I do love that figure.
Thwipp!
If I wasn't in the midst of doing a project, man, I'd have a nice amount of bats red and black. But I need both for a project that I'm doing. It's been a very costly week for me, but I saved so much money on the things I needed.
I still haven't grabbed any arctic bats. They look weird to me. Just a simple paint job would've been fine and I would've grabbed them.
Has anyone found the pp trubblebubble for 22 yet besodes that one dude before christmas?

Never, always full price.
Finally got my Eel from Amazon. Ordered 9/19. It's a pretty great figure, but I was expecting something different from his backpack. Maybe more like the vintage one, since I actually had it as a kid. I imagine that's what's coming on the retro card? Pairing him with the Snow Serpent is pretty satisfying.
RE: Massive Discounts
I'm still salty about all the Grunt-army builders keeping him sold out when he was marked down so low at Target, I STILL don't have the ONE I wanted.
Everyone that came across that deal either bought 2 or cleaned it out (case pack of 4). You can say people spend how they want to spend, but damn it, you know collectors are all just greedy. I am sure it will go on clearance again eventually like most of the figures

If they reissue him, which they are not likely to do.
I keep being tempted by the action force Vangard vehicle, but I saw a picture of it compared to the HISS tank and that is just not going to work with GI Joe. It's bigger than the HISS, which means it will be gigantic next to a Vamp. It is probably the actual "correct" size for the scale, but it is too inconvenient and out of scale when compared to other 1/12 vehicles. Which is a shame because it looks so well done.
It needs to be big enough to fit all the kids for soccer practice!
Yeah, pretty sure the Vanguard is the correct size. The Action Force line is more in-scale with ML than with GI Joe. GI Joe is a more 1/12 scale line where as the Action Force line is not.
Yeah, the Vanguard has three strikes against it in my eyes: it's fairly mundane-looking, it's too tall for my shelves, and you can't see the figures inside it.
Despite all that, I'm *still* on the fence about getting one. It does look well-made and is a good price. sigh.
