Just got my Crimson BATs and finally opened my Hawk.

Yep, I have the same waist issue with Hawk as reported by others. Had a Low-Light snap in half from this issue and my replacement was also the same, so I didn't bother trying to work the waist loose.  Looks like I'm going to stop trying to twist forthcoming Joes for the time being.

I said I would buy the BATs if I could find them for less than $15, so I ordered.  They are more fun than my favorite the Arctic BAT thanks to the extra extensions; but I don't think they look as cool.  The only thing I'm curious about is if the lettering on the chest-plate can be removed easily.  Has anyone tried this?

Just got a pending charge on my credit card for $122.XX (Canadian) from Walmart.  That should be the next three exclusives (Wolf Spider, NF Tunnel Rat, Shadow Tracker).  They had moved up from Jan/Feb next year to Dec. 21st.  So I'm hoping to see some kind of notification tomorrow, but I won't mind if it takes until after Christmas.

And yeah that price is right unfortunately.  $36Cdn is the standard now for 6" figures from Hasbro (ML, Joe, SW) so it isn't fun to have to pay that much after tax, but they are exclusives so I bite the bullet early.

So far Shadow Tracker shipped.  Does Walmart always have to find some weird shipping company to deliver their packages?  Who is OnTrac?  Was Lasership too busy?  The tracking number started with a "C" and I was wondering who the heck is this.

I thought my Joe year was done with the Strike Team, but then Walmart ships this guy.  I even passed on Mutt and Junkyard at CMD figuring they would be here soon enough and I'll shut down the Joe buying for the last two weeks.

Got Wolf Spider and Shadowtracker today. No movement on NF Tunnel Rat at all.

@leor did your figures arrive together in the same box or bag?  I noticed the weight on my package was 2 lbs.  It seems a little high for 1 figure, unless it was just over 1 lb and they needed to round up.

Both came in a shipping box. I was half expecting these to come in those plastic mailers.

I’m debating.

Place a new order for the Spider and Tracker which shows to deliver next week or keep my preorder and see if preparing becomes shipped?

Walmart I’m on the nice list. At least I think so.

Thwipp!

Hope Classified gets the waist issue sorted out, and the torso articulation on the female troopers enhanced.  It's really spoiled a lot of the fun of getting the Valkyries and female HISS Gunner figures.  My HISS Gunner's waist ball joint is like a bobblehead, it's just wobbling about but it also simultaneously has virtually no range for crunch.  I'm glad the vehicle itself is great bc she's really disappointing.

@prophet they never did fill my Big Ben order.  So after seeing Wolf Spider ship by himself, I went ahead & reordered Shadow Tracker.  I'm really hoping one of them will make it to me.

I picked up General Hawk today. Maybe one of my favorites for sure. Such a great figure.

Definitely agree. Torso crunch helps a figure come alive, especially these Joe's. I wound up modding my Cobra Island Viper's vest so he can have ab crunch, and it significantly increased my enjoyment of the figure.

I'm going to try to mod one of my Valkyries to see if I can give her crunch. I have no idea how yet, lol, wish me luck.

Shadow Tracker shipped for me today from a preorder. Wolf Spider still "preparing." Got Shockwave today, one of my favorite characters as a kid and he really does highlight the ab crunch issue - the vest overlays always look rad but he really feels limited in his torso movement. Also something weird going on with his hands/guns - it's like neither hand was designed to hold his guns or the guns weren't designed for him, they just don't rest well (the paint/plastic started to split on his trigger finger when I tried to put one into his grip). good figure otherwise though.

Speaking of the ab issue though - I picked up an extra Tiger Force Flint with the Target discount to pull his overlay off. the color of his shirt is inconsistent underneath (the sleeves and shoulders are darker than the abs/chest) but honestly, removing the vest makes him a more dynamic action figure. Reckon I might do this to more characters if I can find one deeply discounted. The vests add a lot of detail so I don't dislike 'em but that ab crunch hidden underneath makes a world of difference when it can move in terms of posability.

Got Shadow Tracker in the mail today (or yesterday now I guess). I didn't preorder, just ordered it off the site when it went up. I remember really wanting the Pursuit of Cobra figure, but I never could find it. This almost makes up for that.

His arrow came out of the box bent to an insane degree and the green mask didn't really grip his face at all, it fell off quite easily. A hot water bath and some tweaking fixed both those right up. I'm much happier with him now. My only major gripe now is that I wish his vest could be more easily removed for an optional stripped down look.

Otherwise, I'm happy to have him! I've always thought he had a great design and didn't think we'd get him this relatively early into the line.

I did the same thing to my original Flint. I cut it so I could take it on and off. It really does make a huge difference. Makes it even flexible with the vest on.

I’m going to wait and see as I have Tunnel Ray ordered with them and do not want to pay shipping for the single figure.

So many figures come at once…

Thwipp!
