Received my Alley Vipers and one of my Mole Rats (I made a couple orders) from WM today.  Should have my other Mole Rats and Shooter tomorrow.

I loved this Alley Viper deco from the Pursuit of Cobra line and having it in Classified is much appreciated.  Looks awesome.

@freditor swapping Helix's head on to CoverGirl's ball joint is a good fit.  It feels secure and Helix's skin tone is a pretty good match with CoverGirl's neck.  Helix's neck can not be switched over to CoverGirl's body, but CoverGirl's neck will fit on Helix's body. The neck pieces are a different shape and CoverGirl's neck is longer.

Helix's socket is larger and feels like it was designed for easy swaps.  I didn't need to heat her head to pop off her body like I had to with CG's.  I couldn't fit CG's head on Helix's neck post.

She has a band-aid?

Awkward knife placement.

I think Helix's legs are a warped.  The plastic doesn't feel as stiff as CG's legs.

@mrboshek thanks for checking this for me! I feel like her head looks much better than the one CoverGirl came with. I'd just have to paint the hair auburn.

I've seen a video review of Helix where the legs were also warped, much worse than on yours. Seems to be a common issue with her.

But vintage Buzzer HAD that tattoo. That wasn’t on the current team.

Haha, people being weird about tattoos will never stop making me laugh. Just bizarre behaviour, especially given how the Dreadnoks are rowdy biker types.

You're both right, of course. I'm going to do my best to stop being weird. 🙂

Hey I’m not judging ya. I’m a freak too who took off Rock n Roll’s tattoos as well as the original Roadblocks before the Amazon one came out. And you know what? I’ll probably take off Clutch’s and maybe even Ripper’s.

I got my Walmart order…

I ordered two Mole Rats and after opening one I may be good with that one. I don’t know. I’ll have to live with it a bit.

Crimson Alley Vipers are very snazzy looking. I like the orange and blue. I got three of those. I think I’ll stick to two of the Crimson. Maybe pick up a third down the road if presented with opportunity.

Shooter I’ll have to play around with more. Hasbro. I’m okay with gummy accessories when they are shorter. Her long rifle is bowed and heat and cool is doing little to resolve that. Come on guys. It’s already a bland color. She look like she’s bending her shot like in movie Wanted. This gun needs paint. Her face is nicely painted. She looks like she means business. I like the tattoo quite a bit. Her torso doesn’t move as well as it should. Arms and legs are quite articulate.

Hasbro, accessories pack with black/grey male and female fists, flat karate chop hands, and splayed out gesturing hands.

I like Shooter more than Mole Rat. Shooter and Crimson Alley Viper are about even. The Mole Rat needed alternative zombie limbs to make it worth squad/army building. It’s ok. The accessories were also gummy on mine. I want a different type of build or height character in this same type of garb.

Bring on the next Nightforce fellows.

Thwipp!

I've already received Shooter, my Mole Rats and Alley Vipers from Walmart and Pulse is still processing the orders, no shipping notice yet just a payment successful email and Pulse was first to notify me.

Haven't got Mole Rat yet but opened Shooter and Crimson Alley Viper tonight. I was iffy on Shooter since she wasn't a character I had before but she's just a really, really cool figure. Glad I picked her up.

I have always loved the hideous orange Alley Viper armor but man, they did a great job with the crimson look - just a slick repaint for one of my favorite Vipers as a kid. His accessories were a little warped but not too bad. Only the grappling hook was noticeable after I messed with them a bit.

Received the Walmart figures, opened Shooter so far and she's really great with one big exception — Prophet is spot on about her rifle. That thing is just garbage. Mine just doesn't stay straight and I really don't want it to considering how big and bland it looks. If you're not going to put paint apps on guns, just make them black — and use a better plastic.

Those Vala weapons packs are becoming more handy by the wave.

Hey yeah, that might also work. Please post pistures of the results if you do try this.

Shooter's gun looks like a 2000s Chap Mei gun for their 4" line just with cheaper plastic.  Woof.  I'm trying my best to not repaint these figures but her gun is very tempting.  At the very least I'd add some black and seal it, helping it stay straight.

Loving Shooter overall.  Mole Rat isn't bad but he's just so fiddly with his gear.  I especially like how, together, they look like they crawled straight out of a Resident Evil game.  Especially with Shooter looking like Shiva, they're a great duo to sell in the same wave.

EDIT:  Does anyone know what the handled "thing" that comes with Mole Rat is for?  It looks like it's molded to go into something.  Also it looks like a Ghostbusters ghost trap.  But why?

Had about a minute to look over Shooter.  Better face paint apps and probably stiffer plastic in the legs compared to Helix.  It's almost like Shooter has face printing and Helix has regular old paint apps from years ago.

Geiger counter?  Or Energon detecting device.   And then the lantern thing is a container for Energon and is glowing through the window, since it has Energon in it.

Opened my Shooter.   I like her.  While she's a bit plain color-wise, it fits the Night Force theme.  I don't mind her wearing low sneaker-type shoes.  Makes her stand out a bit.  A lot of Joe guns are a bit soft, so she's not alone in that regard.    She's a decent addition to the troops.

Shooter showed up today.  I had forgotten about her.  I like her.  Being that she came with her gas mask on, I opened her accessory bag and found no unmasked head which scared me for a little bit.  I didn't realize right away that the regular head was under the gas mask and I thought I got shorted, but it's all good.  Two different hair styles was an unexpected bonus.  I don't really pay too much attention to the tattoos on figures, but I really like her snake tat.  I guess my only complaint is her soft, rubbery gun.  But overall, this is fun for anyone who read Marvel GI Joe #1 back in the day and wondered, "Who's Shooter?"  Good pay off.

The 155 issue run of Marvel GI Joe is one of the best comic book runs of all time.  FYI.
