I have 2 Snow Job on order & I haven't gotten anything! But that's ok... I'm in no hurry...
Got my Retro Snake Eyes the other day and he's been a constant companion for most of the last week. Just a wonderful figure. Didn't think I would be this enamored because I really love the Alpha Commando's version which is basically a re-imagined V1 look but I'll be damned if this version is just executed so damn well. I don't have a preference between them, just thrilled Snake Eyes has gotten so much love in the line. Now just waiting for the inevitable more classic looking V2 using the Torpedo/Eel body.
@chaosmonkeytwo same. He's just so good, a real "less is more" kind of figure. It reminds me of why I got into this line, because he is just as much fun to pose as the first Classified Snake Eyes. No hindering gear, lot of accessories that fit on his person, just plastic perfection. Would have loved a place to store his smoke bombs other than loosely hooking them to the strap (I glued one for looks), but other than that, no complaints.
Also, side-note, they shipped mine in the Hasbro retro figure shipper and it arrived in great condition. Only one figure in the box that fits four. Box was bashed to heck but the figure and card looked very good. FWIW I do complain every time my figures arrive destroyed, so I don't know if WM is doing better, WM is doing better for me because I complain, or I just got lucky.
So... I think it's interesting we got the leak for Wolf Spider - who is figure 109 in the series, and the Cobra Hiss Fire Team is numbered 110 - but we're still missing 82, 88, 89 and 96 through 108. I'm guessing the HasCon exclusive pack will account for 3 of those or maybe just 1?
Historically with this line multipacks are only given a single Series Number even if containing multiple different figures - the Blue Ninja pack was #51 for both male and female ninja, or the Viper and Viper Officer were both #47. So the Crimson Twins and Crimson Baroness may all have the same series number.
Edit: HissTank is now showing this Crimson Strike Team set as #82 - so that answers that question and fills in that gap
Likewise the HISS Tank could account for between 1 and 4 of the numbers - though 1 seems more likely based on the history.
Edit: Contrary to the way the multipacks were treaterd it seems the HISS Tank commandos will be numbered individually - Driver is #99, Tactician is #100 and Gunner is #101. Oddly Cobra Commander is not listed.
But that still leaves a lot of gaps to be filled and makes it curious that we are seeing packaging leaks for #109 so far ahead of those 12 other slots.
Edit: According to the newest HissTank checklist they also show Python Patrol Vypra as 88 and Tiger Force Flint as 89
Which still leaves us short 96 - 98 and 102 - 108...
102-108 is seven figures. Battle Force 2000 has seven members. It's their time to shine!
I didn’t really want to collect any Tiger Force but I snagged Recondo whenever he went on sale for $11 or whatever it was. And then today I picked up Dusty because it was the last one left. Now Bazooka has my attention….*sigh*
Glad I looked at this thread; it reminded me to order the Valkyries, which I slept on initially. I hadn't had a chance to bring it up since the forums were down during SDCC, but I PO'ed the Chuckles purely out of FOMO. The figure (and character) didn't really appeal to me, but I've regretted not POing exclusives in the past, so I figure it's better to be safe than sorry.

CoCo is going to be retro carded, no?
For me boxes are just trash, but I’d be kind of miffed if I was a box collector and they locked some of the numbered boxes behind the HISS. Kind of surprised they went that route.
If Wolf Spider’s inspiration was a variant of Beachhead that was unlikely to be made….I’m fine with it. There are some figures from the original line that I like as a design but not as a version of the character they’re representing, so if they want to spin those looks off into something new that’s actually a clever idea. I had a few figures from the original line that I used as new characters just to have someone I could make into whatever I wanted, I’m always keen to get something truly new.

I agree with this. If this is truly something new to Joe I really like what that could mean for the line. It doesn't just have to be a line of figures playing the greatest hits - it can mix in new material to move forward as well. I'm excited for this direction with the brand and hope we get more releases like this.
The design team were excited about box 100 being the Rudat-designed Tactitian.
I'm 100% ok with them bringing in new characters or using redecos as new characters, though I wish they would use the beach head arms for modern designs.
The ones I still want in my collection are:
classic Scarlett
classic Duke
Jinx
blonde Cover Girl
Zandar
Zanya
Heart Wrencher
Pythona
Raven
as for new characters I'm open to the idea if they maybe include bios or mini comics with them for us to get excited about their roles in the Joe's universe.

This is me but with Night Force. I had zero intention of doing any of the sub teams (not even Tiger Force Outback, great though he is) but between Big Ben, Shooter, and the Dragonfly duo, I seem to be making an exception to my rule after all. Hell, if Wolf Spider had an unmasked head, I'd plan to get him too but he's just too generic as things stand.
@tenime Hot glue isn't a bad idea. But yeah.. shouldn't have to and it's annoying.
Know what else is annoying? Why did they change the colors on the effects for the Steel Corps? It's gonna look so weird having different color muzzle flash across the shelf. And I think the colors on the Viper ones look better.
@normdapito Spearhead was one of my favorites as a kid. I would love a Classified. Would look great with Dusty.
Super bummed that they made one of my all-time favorite Cobra troopers (Range Viper) an exclusive that will never see the light of day in Canada.
