That jetpack idea is brilliant! It will work perfectly for a custom I had in mind.I never liked the look of Metal Head with the stupid awkward looking rocket launcher strapped to his back and legs but... looking at the picks just now, the launcher kind of looks like various modern jetpack prototypes. Thinking of it that way, I like the design a lot more. If I ever get one, I think that's how I'll display him.
@unclassified Nothing good lately at my store for Classified. They did have another case of Fortnite boats and they got the Fortnite Snake-Eyes. A few weeks back, I went on a Saturday and couldn't find anything except piles of unopened movie wave cases. Later that day, someone on the local toy FB group said he got Guards, Sarge, etc out of the backroom at the same Ollie's. I'd never think to ask an Ollie's employee to to look in the stockroom like it was Target 😆Where is this Ollies located? I've been looking for that Fortnite boat.This was over the weekend. Mostly cartoon and movie D&D, ML Black Panther, some Transformers...and a case of movie GI Joe.

I immediately thought of Mike Zeck's Joe art when I saw Mutt's face sculpt. I love it.

I know the goggles will cover it, and I don't intend on displaying Metal-Head without them, but I'm removing that stupid teardrop tattoo the second I get him.

But vintage Buzzer HAD that tattoo. That wasn’t on the current team.
I didn't have Mutt and JY as a kid, but I very much envied my friend's copy. I can't believe how faithful to the original design it is. Even if there are minor adjustments, when I look at the photos of the Classified figure, that's almost exactly what I remember from growing up.
I DID have Law and Order as a kid, so that's my next big "Joe with a pet" want. And I have no doubt they'll actually make them. A year ago, it would have been questionable. Today, it's just a matter of when they announce it.
I just got the "preparing to ship so check your address" email for the HISS! I know we ordered these things forever ago but I feel like this snuck up on me. I'm already stressing about where to store the box. I think I have a spot for the tank at least, though I bet the size will surprise me and it won't fit. If this does arrive in the next month I'll hopefully be able to capitalize on the pre-Christmas shopping rush and flip my second one relatively easily.

Anyway, this guy arrived and I can't decide which mask I like best, or if even to go just without.
@revox Nice! he looks awesome. I was actually thinking about doing a light airbrush with some yellow to pop out the details on the transparent mask. I'll probably rotate between the two masked heads in my display
