$200 for two VAMPs. I’ve got four green RAMs and my custom Skyhawk. Joes have a nice showing. Then next year the Dragonfly. The Ferret, COIL, HISS, SMS, and Trubble Bubble. Vehicles are getting plentiful.

Thwipp!

The in-hand VAMP was way better then I was expecting from the render and was an immediate pre-order.

They all but said there's an MMS coming for the Joes too, so I'm going to be in for that as well.

They did. As they like to tell stories it makes one wonder as to what those missiles will targeting. Trubble Bubbles?

2024 Haslab?

The brand is riding high so they may try something risky. It would be at least $350 to make Classified planes.

The pics of Metal Head and Mutt and Junkyard from MCM are slick. I’m that neighborhood friend wanting to go over to ShootingtheGalaxy’s house so I can play with the latest Joes. I love how he just plays. I mean you can take shots of the figure all geared up in action poses. Those pics get done. You can also minimize and focus in on a detail or two. Have the figure standing there just looking at his helmet as if inspecting or thinking about how he hasn’t called his mom in a while, did he feed his fish, that Cobra Valkyrie hasn’t called him back after she got his number-was she just messing with me. Anyway his shots just give those toys more character. They transform from military/mercenary/etc to a relatable character. I know Lenny said he’s trying to give these soldiers character by the tattoos they have or the embellishments to their gear.

Thwipp!

Quick question not related to the reveals: are you all keeping the locker boxes that come with the figures? I thought they were a fun idea at first and hung onto them but I just added Tripwire's box to the stack and I'm starting to feel a lil neurotic keeping them, wondering if it's time to recycle them. (I end up bagging the accessories anyway since those clips/knifes/silencers can slip out of the cardboard locker very easily. Just curious what everyone else is doing with them. Kinda tempted to just line them up by number for a beauty shot and then recycling them (not like the cardboard is particularly nice stock or anything, too.)

@docsilence yes but only because I've been keeping the boxes, so both the tray and "weapon locker" (come on) go back in the box.  Loving the new side art on the boxes and this is easier than cutting them out like I used to do.

I know it's probably been said, but a figure and a vehicle for $100 is how you f****** do it! Hopefully they make enough to go around.

That's a great find. I have a couple Ross stores in my area so I might just go take a look tomorrow.

My Crimson Alley Vipers and Mole Rats are getting ready to ship from Pulse

Cracked open Chuckles tonight and man, this is why I love this line. He's just a joy of an action figure. Paint's a lil sloppy around the hairline but really, just stacked with fun accessories, great sculpt, one of my favorite Classifieds so far. My only complaint is I want to display him with the brass knuckles and holding his gear and I have to pick one or the other! If they release a non-prestige-y version I'd pick up a second just for that. Heck, I like him enough I'd scoop a second one if he was available on Pulse again even at the upcharge.

It's the way he as a figure tells a whole story. He's a bottle episode in a box. So cool.

I finally opened my Firefly and shooooo is he a mess.  Just a big ol floppy mess.  Very disappointing but he at least is the exception in this line and not the rule.  I also got him on discount so the hurt isn't enough to sour me on the line much.  I just hope this doesn't become more common as it sounds like most people are in the same boat with this particular figure.

I got one floppy Firefly and one that's not too bad.  I find a lot of joints to be too loose or too tight. The neck disc on my desert Snake-Eyes feels like it wouldn't be able to hold up his head if it was missing a hair's width of plastic.  Then the socket in his head is either too tight or the ball is too large.  I can barely twist his head without moving the whole neck.

That's actually a feature. It's the 'neg snapping' action for when Snake Eyes gets hold of him. Joe team is always thinking ten steps ahead.

Classified in general seems to have spottier QC than other Hasbro lines, at least in my experiences. My first release Destro's neck wouldn't pop into the joint all the way, so it'd constantly just fall off. Two figures have broken their thumbs, others have had hips that are scarily tight and feel like they won't move properly without some assistance from shock oil.

My Firefly has a wrist hinge that's really hard to articulate, even after I've tried working it loose by moving it up and down repeatedly, and he's also missing his pistol.

I still love what I've gotten from this line, but it still needs some refinement. No line is ever going to have perfect QC, yet I think this line could stand to make things a bit more consistent.
