Hasbro has also been having biannual sales on their stuff the last couple years. Something like 20% for non-Premium people, 30% off for the suckers. Not everything is on sale but the selection has always been pretty solid from what I remember. I'm counting on getting the Trouble Bubble that way.
I think Hasbro shows Target. Pulse sold 30,000 units of the VAMP it might peak interest for a variant. It’s definitely set up for reuse.
I think I’ll try for two. I can repaint if I want.
Thwipp!
Just received Chuckles and he's as fun as I thought he'd be. The figure itself is almost caricaturish. He seems to have slightly exaggerated proportions to me. His accessories are great. My least favorite is the lei, which doesn't sit well on his neck, especially with the holster in the way. The briefcase could hold most of his stuff, though he has spots on his belt for the Soundblaster tape deck and binoculars. So I stick the file folder, headphones, sunglasses, and handcuffs in the briefcase. The alternate bruised head and brass knuckled hands are cool, but I won't display those either. Package isn't quite as cool as the Crimson Strike Team, but has its own charm, like the illustrated escape sequence, but I would have liked an opening to see the figure like the CST box.
I think it's a funny coincidence that I also received Super7 Ultimates Genghis Frog from BBTS today, and they're sporting similar Hawaiian shirts.
Vamp in my cart but can't check out yet .
Wow, $100 for the VAMP. Not bad! Think I'm still going to wait but I think that's a really solid price for such a deluxe vehicle. They did not mess around with the details.

Are you signed in as a member? That's what I stumbled on, but once I signed in, all the links were live.
Well, the VAMP looks extremely rad. I've already got the Roboskull Mk2 coming to me this year, and I've been trying to resist the pull of any more 1/12 vehicles, but with the VAMP, Valaverse Vanguard, and Ramentoys Charger I know I'll probably end up with something else. Cost will probably be the determining factor so if this comes in under 150 it's likely the VAMP will win. If it's just 100 it's a for sure.
What do we think the likelihood is we'll get an updated Destro and Despoiler to match the Iron Grenadier? I just sold my first wave Destro and now I'm kicking myself.
I was going to talk myself out of the VAMP but for $99.99 it actually doesn't feel like we're getting punished for buying it. Maybe it's just all the Haslab prices lately that make it feel relatively affordable. I don't need another vehicle, I'm already panicking about where to put the HISS, but I mean, one mid-sized vehicle for each faction isn't too much of a lift, right? I could make shelf space for that. And it's just so dang NEAT. (I'm reliving my "I was too young to get/keep all the core Joes" best life with this line. Clutch is one of those old school guys I never had. Which is probably why I was hoping they'd make the AWE Striker and Crankcase first - that was my first two-seater in the original line and Crankcase was one of those weird figures I somehow never lost and so I still have a soft spot for him, hoping he'll get made eventually.
Unrelated, I got the Crimson three pack. I didn't realize how FANCY the packaging would be - I don't want to throw it out. It has magnets! It's beautiful! Having some issues getting Baroness's hair to stay in place but otherwise just a great alternative look for them. I gotta set up a Crimson (Everybody) display one of these days. There's enough now.
Outback buck getting a lot of use in 2023 and I love every second of it.
Dammit, it's just $100. Shit. Now I need one. How dare they. How DARE they.
Wow, $100 feels just about right to me. I was expecting at least $120/$130 and to start talking myself out of ordering it despite how great the set looks. Jumped on it right away for $100.
And I'll pick a second up at Ollie's for $20 next year ... (Ironically, I finally found Sarge there this morning.)
Speaking of annoying, what's the deal with Star Wars Black series? Talk about lines on different trajectories — today's offerings are just pathetic. It feels like Hasbro's given up with 6-inch Star Wars figures.
It is starting to get annoying how they keep adding a steel brigade head to certain figures to make them somewhat army buildable and then give them distinctive tattoos or a damn name tag that ruins the whole thing. Price is great though, definitely in for one.
Holy crud, most of the other Joe stuff is in stock, too. Just grabbed retro Storm Shadow and another Valkyrie pack ...
Pulse exclusive stuff, I mean. Mindbender is there too.
@normdapito I think I clicked it before it was officially available at 5pm. It was good after I deleted and re-added.
@threash I kind of like it as I love that helmet. They aren't army builders, but it makes them feel like a unified near future scifi military using some of the same gear. But I can see your point too.
