I'm so tempted to display the Snow Serpent being threatened by both of the Timber figures like "HOW DARE YOU."

Got shipping notice for Tripwire. I really appreciate that he comes with both a classic-ish look and a modern one - I really prefer old-school looking figures but having both options in the same figure is a fun get.

I had Tripwire ship from Pulse as well, but I got a delay message for my pre ordered Nunchuck figure. Anyone else get that delay?  I think even on Pulse now it says Nunchuck is coming December 15.

I got the Steel Brigade and Snow Serpent packs in the mail.  I got x2 of each.  I think they all are great.  The Steel Brigade Troops and all their accessories are a lot of fun.  I do wish the Steel Brigade helmet that came with Grunt could fit on the male Steel Brigade figure.  But no big deal.

I wasn't going to get the Snow Serpent as I have mentioned before.  Since the classic toy version on Retro Card is coming.  But I'm so glad I decided to get these as well.  All the accessories, and the snow board!  I'm so happy to have 2 snow boards lol.  I laugh, but they are so cool.  I shouldn't be so thrilled with snow boards, but......I am.

So, BBTS already got in  Dreadnok Buzzer from the next/newest wave.  Do you guys think Hasbro Pulse will be getting that Wave in this month?   Or do you think sometime next month?

Just kind of trying to prepare for the cost.  You have to love all these Hasbro pre orders.  I do GI Joe, Star Wars, and Marvel Legends.  Hasbro gives you a date for your pre orders, but they mean nothing.  And it seems like 2 Waves of every line they've got comes in all at once, 1-3 months early lol.

Just opened the new Firefly. First classified I've bought since the first SE & Timber two pack. The detents in the joints are almost impossible to move. They seem way worse than they used to be. Do all the figures have these horrible detents? Kind of ruins the fun of fluid posing or playing, doesn't it? Of course he has the loose torso too, so he just leans backwards.

Great design, but I wish he was more fun to mess around with.

Also, are his guns undersized, or is it just me? His rifle and pistol seem way too small.

The guns seem perpetually thin and flimsy now.  Undersized is a newer phenomenon I'm not noticing in the line.  Hasbro needs to get their act together because I can't keep buying GridIron Studios weapons to swap out.  SnowJob is the only recent one I don't have complaints with regarding the weapons size/sturdiness.

Had to approve a delay for the Eel I ordered in September citing "supply chain issues".  At least I got one from the initial preorder.

@vicious7171 I would love to get a V2 Snow Serpent as some point. But I'm not sure if I would rather have his normal colors or have  it match up more with V1 so they seem more like a coherent squad. Same thing with the V2 Eel. Since we are talking about Snow boards I do hope they come out with V2 Iceberg. He was awesome. I actually prefer him over the V1 and he is one of the last joes I got as a kid.

@supercamel-1982 tough to say with the next wave. BBTS also got Rock and Roll really early but the rest of the wave didn't come out till everyone else got it. I think it will be before Dec 1st. But really Dec 1st. its not that far away if it is. There are defiantly signs that shipping is getting better and back to normal( Well except for Nunchuk which is weird because we got him in Canada at the beginning of Sept but Steel Corp also came out over here before overseas). Also the Steel Corp set is a lot of fun. I was able to pick up two more sets from TRU during there 25% off sale.

My Tripwire shipped too. Should be here Monday. I can't believe I'm excited for Tripwire. It kind of shows how good a job the Joe team has been doing when I am excited for him because I could care less about him when I was a kid.

There have been reports that the HISS and Mutt & Junkyard are state side. Hopefully we hear a update on both a the 1027 event. Something to note the HISS Fire Team (#110) is the last item to use the windowless packaging. So if we do see the preorder go up for Mutt and Junkyard it will also be the first time we are seeing the new packaging. Also I have a feeling Metal Head might go up for preorder at the same time.

Opened Snow Serpent.  Not much to say others haven't covered.  The cloak is so heavy it's hard to stand him.  I don't really care about storing all weapons on a figure but a knife with nowhere to put it is an odd decision to include it.  And what the hell is up with figures in this line with two pistols.  Do soldiers really carry two pistols?   It's kind of ridiculous at this point.   Snow Serpent could have had a knife sheath instead of a 2nd pistol/holster.

A lot of love I have for any RAH figure is how good/usable their weapons were.  Much of the awesomeness of the RAH Snow Serpent was that grey AK-47.  So getting this other gun is a bit of a letdown.  Doesn't ruin the figure.  You just know the retro Snow Serpent will come with a grey AK-47 though to get those double-dip repurchases.

Tripwire and Crimson 3pk are on the way.   I never cared much for the RAH Tripwire figure, but I'm actually looking forward to the Classified one.  They did a great job of making him look interesting.

It's always interesting to me what matters to people about their figures.   For me personally - I know less than nothing about guns so I don't care AT ALL what specific gun is included with any figure.  I mean,  I guess I would think it was weird if a sniper didn't come with a long range rifle... but beyond that it's all just 'gun for the hand' kind of deal for me.    I'm much more interested in the figure design choices and the aesthetic.

And this is in NO way a put down or diminishment of people who do care about the weapons used.   I can see that the type of weapon likely matters very much in a line of military operatives and soldiers and so I can see how screwing up details like what type of gun should be used could be annoying, distracting or even disqualifying.

But, I guess I'm lucky that since I don't know one gun from another those blunders don't impact my enjoyment of these figures.

Just got the shipping announcement yesterday for the Pulse exclusive Crimson trio and am really hoping for even the most modest breather in Joe releases.   It's been a non-stop wave of Joes arriving weekly and I could use a little gap.

So I found a really simple, five minute no actual work needed fix for Firefly's torso looseness: sticky-tac in the torso joint crevice.

Went from the back, lined a small snake of sticky tac along the sides of the joint, and just jammed it in there with a thin knife. Used the back of the knife to avoid scratching or cutting. No super glue on the figure issues, no cutting, just a quick five minute fix that has him standing up no problem, and he feels "normal" in hand.

Just wanting to pass this along as it's brutally simple and folks likely have an exacto and sticky tac laying around.

I'm willing to bet that Pledge/Future floor polish trick would work, too.  I've used it on the hip balls when they're too loose; it's a famous Transformers toy fix for years now.  Basically just brush a tiny bit into the crevice or around wherever you need friction, wait about a day, test, if it's too loose, repeat.

Got my tripwire, right boot is loose and slides up and down. What a let down.

@vicious7171 Oh absolutely. I was going to go the floor polish route, but every time I've done it with other figures, it's usually a multi-day process of multiple applications to get it to dry and then put more in.

Just looked at the sticky tac and figured it could be worth a shot. If it didn't work, it would have just been more bulk for the floor polish. Thankfully, he was fixed in under five minutes, instead of letting him rest untouched for like 3 days.

Received Tripwire today. Really cool figure with plenty of accessories… I actually don’t think he needed to come with all this stuff. I appreciate the options, but Tripwire isn’t one of the most prominent Joes, and I won’t be displaying most of the stuff he comes with. MACLEOD is cool, but I’m not gonna be reenacting any tense moments or bomb diffusion, I’m just gonna squeeze TW into my display. Aspara might make it in since she’s mighty small. Either way, happy to add him, but he didn’t need to be a deluxe.

Anyone have a problem with this line constantly falling over? My Joe shelves are the only ones constantly falling, I don't know if they have bad ankles or too many accessories but I am constantly picking them off the floor.
