Frag Viper is a fun figure. Can’t believe I never owned the original where he was practically everywhere when I was younger.

Blowtorch is cool also. However, as an articulation fan he gets points taken off for lack of shin swivel. His legs are unique to him only so I understand why Hasbro decided not add it. But that just comes down to cutting corners to save a few bucks and being cheap. It’s not like the cut would have ruined the sculpt. You can literally see where the cut at the top of the cuff could have been made.

Today was a nice day for in-store purchases. My brother picked up Darklon, Frag Viper and Blowtorch in the morning at Target while I was at work then I found Dr. Mindbender at a different Target in the afternoon (missed him last week). These might be the first non-exclusive figures I bought at retail before already having them from an online source. Hmm, maybe I found an Alley Viper at Target first, but it's been few and far between.

Dial-Tone (finally) arrived today from Pulse.  I was beginning to think the figure was just a myth.

Three of the new wave were due to be delivered yesterday from Amazon, but were delayed due to "severe weather" in my area.  What a crock of shit.  It's fucking hot out.  It's not severe weather.

So Snow Cat Haslab most likely going by the tease. I hope they start making the snow Joes in the mainline soon.  I actually don’t want any of them to be tiers with this Haslab. I’m hoping for maybe artic gear versions of the popular joes like Arctic Snakeyes, Scarlett, Flint, etc. or Kwinn. I want to buy Iceberg, Blizzard, V2 Stalker, etc at the normal etail and retail places.

I mean...  Frostbite will almost certainly be included with the Snow Cat.   It would be crazy for them not to include him at the very least

There are a lot of snow themed Joes I would love to have -  ALOT... and I can see how including them with this HasLab would stink for people without the money and/or space to invest in it.

But I think the retro card avenue is available to deliver those characters outside of the vehicle down the road.

In trying to think what other characters should be included with a Snow Cat Haslab...

one immediate thing is they could do a "generic" arctic gear 'green shirt' (white shirt?) -  with the introduction of the generic soldier, they could pop a winter themed version into this pack to minimize the number of named characters locked behind the paywall.     And it harkens back to the good ol' days of Joe:

Other options would be arctic variants of characters we already have -   Arctic Gear Stalker,  arctic gear Snake Eyes,  arctic gear Flinit... (too soon for arctic gear Bushido - though that existed)

A less good, but possible option would be one of the minor snow related Joes that was also a vehicle pack in like Cold Front who came with the Avalanche or Windchill that came with the Arctic Blast... or maybe the Blind Woodsman

Bur for real I hope they stay away from the other snow themed Joes that were single card releases originally like Blizzard,  Sub Zero, Snow Storm, Avalanche (the character not the tank)

I will be curious to see which way they go.

I’d laugh if Quick Kick was one of the tiers and the only thing different is he has a scarf accessory and snow goggles.

Looks like Amazon bumped up Footloose for tomorrow. I wasn’t expecting him until July. I also finally saw the new retro wave at my Targets. Man that was a long drought.

Snow Cat it is. Tiers are cool no pun intended. Although I would have wanted a fourth tier with an Arctic SnakeEyes, but that probably means a single release for later. I’m in.

Looks great and I love all the tiers.   BIVOUAC!!!!!!!!!!!!  You know we'll see that down the line in the traditional green.   Lady Jaye and Flint look great.   The Snow Cat itself is pretty great overall and man-o-man is it huge.

Definitely in for one.

I only collect Joe's in passing based on how cool they look.  Haven't backed any Haslabs and wont be backing this, but this is probably the coolest vehicle they've put out.  A lot of value baked in almost to the point where I would be saying "alright, enough guys," while watching the promo video.  Looks cool, happy for those who wanted it that they went all out.

Canprime, hoping you do your daily updates!  Check my numbers, I think I've got this correct.

5,248 is a solid start, but it places as #4 for G.I. Joe 1st day totals and #6 overall.  The Joe community slays these funding projects!

#1. Cobra H.I.S.S. - 9,987

#2. G.I. Joe Dragonfly - 8,942

#3. G.I. Joe Rattler - 7,458

#4. GB Ghost Trap - 6,483

#5. Galactus - 5,925

#6. G.I. Joe Snow C.A.T - 5,240

@niteowl86 Yeah sorry I don't frequent here as much as I used to since the last collapse of the website.   Plus the seemingly constant need to re-login every few weeks and less traffic/discussion.   I spend more time over on the other site created by some of the members here.

I'll try to remember to post the Haslab updates here as well.  If not I still have them daily on actionfigurenews.ca (where I started tracking years ago) and the other site.  I'll try and comeback in a bit with today's update that I did earlier and post it in it's own thread.

Could you possibly pm/message me that site or just let me know what it is? I’ve noticed there isn’t much discussion here as well since the last collapse. Very much appreciated.
