Also noticed Pulse raised the preorder price for Colonel Hawk MMS set to 79.99 after it came back from preorders being sold out. I know it was 74.99 originally when I ordered it last week.
Huh. Look at that ... they did.
Those sneaky little bastards.
So these recent Pulse notifications are showing the Rattler inbound soon but also Dial Tone as well. I’ve had my Dial Tone since the original release date from Amazon but it’s good my mib is finally arriving soon from Pulse. Amazon shows BlowTorch and Frag Viper by the end of the month too.
I was beginning to think Dial-Tone was a myth.
Just got Heavy Duty opened up. Never had him as a kid. I’m actually liking this figure a lot more than I thought I would. Makes me even more excited when they get to Fastdraw. With all the ordinance Heavy Duty has on him, it really looks like he could take out a Hiss tank by himself. Despite being too heavy with all the gear on, he can stand pretty well with the usual “find the center of gravity posing” figure collectors usually have to do. One thing is be careful about that targeting eyewear he has. It’s small and mine came loose sometimes and fell off.
Despite all the good I still have to iterate to Hasbro to not cheap out and give each joe a standard rifle and sidearm with holster. They did give him two knives so there’s that. But if this guy’s gear ever runs out of ammo and he has to ditch his heavy gear and run, well it’d be nice to have a rifle and/or sidearm to help cover the escape rather than rely on just two knives. He better hope there are other Joes around to cover him. Lol.

Not a Joe devotee or expert, but the look of him reminds me of the old Aliens toy line. It looks cool, and he's definitely imposing, but one wonders where he's meant to have a space marine's lifespan before all the ammo runs out. Love the colorful hat, he's definitely not sneaking up on anyone in the bushes!
Found Blowtorch at a rando Target Sunday night. Very well done. As one of the last few Classified figs I am interested in, I am a satisfied robot.
Now bring on my Lazer Boyz! Oh, and Airtight. 🙂
@jtmarsh Now that you mention it, he does give the space marine vibe. I was trying figure out why this version of him looked familiar in a non-Heavy Duty way.
First thing I did when I opened up Heavy Duty was pose him with a NECA xenomorph. They really do feel like they belong in the same display.
Anyone got both Heavy Duty and the Marvel Legends Blade figure? I'm curious to see if the flattop head for Heavy Duty makes for a decent non-screaming / non-shades Blade or if it will even fit on that body?
Amazon says Blowtorch and Frag Viper are arriving today with Darklon arriving tomorrow. Footloose seems to be in July still. Cool. More Joes.
Lenny posted his design art for Blowtorch on his instagram. It was an earlier take that didn't have the black knees, and it looks so much better without the black. It'll probably be a retro like that down the line, but I wish it would just look like that on the first try.
Just opened my flood of new Joes. The Viper is fine. The orange jumpsuit isn't super great, but man that mask looks awesome on him.
I ended up getting 2 Darklon - and I don't mind having the ability to display both head options but I may need to swap out the pants or repaint them on the second figure to differentiate. Both heads are fun and interesting though.
Blowtorch - The ketchum/mustard color scheme is a bit much - and as Benty said the black knee pads look odd. I had a tough time getting the tanks to plug into the back but eventually got it there. Still it's a fun figure and unique and different from other figures in the line.
