I realize this dependent on region, but I have not seen any Joes at my local targets for about a couple of months now. I think the last set of figures they had was the retros with Beachead and the Roadpig and Raptor sets. I just saw the latest Leatherneck wave at just one of my Walmarts and that did not last on the pegs very long. The only place that I see Joes consistently is my local GameStops.

I detect the crimson fisted hand of Cobra behind this!
@leor Similar situation up here in Canada.
Walmart used to carry Classified, albeit not consistently. Now they have disappeared (along with ML). So we are left with Gamestop and TRU (which is shrinking fast).
Sorry Walmart does still have a limited selection online and, thankfully, still has the Collector Con offerings each time they are released. Still it is looking more and more like the hobby is shifting to online only for lines without major media tie-ins.
The nearest Walmart with Joes is about 20 miles away. I usually stop in a couple times a month. Last week they had a Saw Viper, while this past weekend it was two Zandars in the clearance aisle for $15. Left them behind because I couldn't think of a really good use use for an extra Zandar.

See, that's just not trying hard enough 😉 😀
In fairness though - the crotch piece is pretty specific with that scuplted belt buckle and hanging chains sculpted on. The shoulder pads and chest armor are removable so the torso, arms and legs are pretty re=usable... but that crotch piece has to be dremeled or sliced to be reused in any meaningful way.
It was kind of the problem with the the twins back in the day. They were easily findable for like $5 or $6 each, but they were terrible fodder because the sculpts were so specific they weren't usable for much in terms of customs.
@panthercult I was going to get one just in case, but decided to leave him behind for someone who might need him. Right now, I have an oversupply of Lady Jaye that I don't know what to do with. TF Outback was my best discount figure on deep Target Clearance. I picked up 5 or 6 extras. All his accessories are useful and I even used one to repair the hips of a broken Ripper.
Yeah, the Target Outback was a good pick up for parts. Stalker got cheap for awhile there too and I was able to pick up a few of those. And of course there was the infamous Nightforce Falcon/Quarrel set that could be had cheap for a bit there that had some useful pieces. I think the days of truly cheap fodder for this line may be behind us though...
Damn, Fwoosh is not the same anymore. this place is dead, not active like before. ive been also hanging out at other forums...

LOL. I guess I'm a traitor too then. I have been hanging out over at Articulated Thoughts. Justice told me about it, and a lot of The Fwoosh folks are over there.
But I love The Fwoosh. it's been such a fun place to talk toys.
Speaking of Toys, I can't wait to see the rumored figure of Sci-Fi shown. I just hope his green looks right and Hasbro doesn't hold back on it. Sci Fi's colors were such a big part of what made that figure fun.
The next wave that I have preordered won’t be out until August. I’m guessing the next Haslab will be revealed around that time. It’s these lulls in between waves that I wish Hasbro would surprise us with something. Like Shocker Toys reviving and taking over the Joe license or some crazy sh!t like that.
I’m joking of course. However, the utter lack of Joe toys in places I went through this weekend was a little concerning. Except GameStop, not that many stores had stock. I go out of town a few times a week, so it wasn’t relegated to where I live. I don’t think it’s ever been this bad in my stomping grounds. Those production cut backs might actually be a thing in my neck of the woods.
Also anyone know when O13 Colonel Hawk goes up for preorder? Heard he was Amazon exclusive?
Hasn't been super fun lately with pricing and tariffs looming over the toy world.
For real. Just saw EE update their preorders for the Armored CC wave. $31.99 per fig. Gross. Not preordering any Joes over there for the time being. Amazon dynamic pricing changes is now $27.99 on all that wave except V4 SE. not too bad but not good either. So only Pulse has the best option for preorders if joes currently. Kinda a bummer.

Shouldn't they be able to keep their prices slightly cheaper given that it's long been told to us that the licensing for stuff like SW and Marvel is what contributes to the price? Stuff that Hasbro owns outright should be able to maintain a "slightly" more reasonable price, no? Especially if we're expected to accept that things will supposedly be in shorter supply this Christmas, wouldn't one want THEIR offerings to be slightly more affordable so as to be the toys people select? I mean you can make more on volume than taking the "selling snow cones in the desert" tactic EVERY time, right?
And yes, I realize Transformers is manufactured elsewhere than China so they get a more beneficial out.
Back on topic, has anyone seen pics of the retro card Wild Bill? I saw a corner of his hat in some showcase photos for the last reveal but have seen nothing since.
