I think it's going to be one of the tanks, but I did take into the possibility of a future Whale when I decided not to back the Rattler. Whale would take priority of my dwindling space.
I recently polished my Whales with Novus scratch remover & cleaner, now they're kind of slippery to pick up 🤣
There's something about the chaos of Pulse that makes me laugh. I'd had a notification that Dial-Tone was shipping soon, but just got shipping notification - not the pre-shipping notification - for Zandar, Leatherneck, and SAW Viper. Zero warning. I'm okay with it, I assumed I'd be charged soon, but there is no predictability about if you'll get that "coming soon" notification, is there.
Most psyched to finally have the Zartan family reunion complete.
Hey. We don’t have Zanya yet.
What if they did the whale, but made the bladder actually inflatable? So many more parts to go wrong, but I'm sure someone did the math on it.
@panthercult I also love the Snow Cat. It was my first ever vehicle, but if I were to be selfish I'd hope for Frostbite to be released as a single figure instead since I don't do vehicles. I still check prices on stinger drivers heh.
The only vehicle I would be really tempted to go for wouldn't even be a real vehicle as I would like essential a Black Hawk. Or a Joed up Black Hawk. Not to say Tomahawk, which would a little tempting. But what the Tomahawk is to a Chinook, I want the Joe version of a Black Hawk.
I thought I was done with the bigger Classified stuff after backing the two aircraft (I like the balance of one of each for Joe and Cobra) but the Whale was probably the number one Joe toy I never had as a kid and DREAMED of getting one. (I mean we all dreamed about the aircraft carrier and the space shuttle but those were a bridge too far for my family; the Whale was just one I missed out on). I'd have to talk myself OUT of backing it. Probably based on size. Just looked it up and the original was 19 inches long; if they can keep it around double that it'sll be just a little longer than the Dragonfly and I... for this toy I'd make that work.
Weirdly if they did the Mauler, which is kind of the classic of classic Joe vehicles, I could skip it. It's too real world for me as a tank and while I backed the HISS I find I mess with it far, far less than I do the Dragonfly or the retail-level vehicles. I must pull the stinger off the shelf once a week just to tinker with it, but mucking with the HISS feels like I might drop a Fabergé egg
I really would prefer if Hasbro stuck to vehicles in the $100 range like the VAMP and make us an AWE Striker or similar-sized vehicle rather than make a $150 vehicle that they cram with figures and electronics and sticker sets to raise the price into $300 Haslab territory. My heart sank when I saw how ugly those figures that came with the Dragonfly were (aside from Wild Bill), just give us a regular-ass preorder to buy these things, so I can cancel when it turns out the figures' heads look like selfie series toys. I really can't see myself buying any more vehicle Classified Haslabs. Remake the 90s Headquarters Command Center as a Haslab and I'll bite.

I totally get this. I have come very close to pulling the trigger on some ebay auctions for figures that come with the Dragonfly. I definitely want them, but not the helicopter. I also wouldn't mind having Wild Weasel in my collection but I don't want the plane. So I fully understand that desire.
Like I said, I don't really have the shelf - or floor - space for the Whale or the Snow Cat but my affinity for those particular vehicles runs so deep I don't know that I could resist if they were offered, the way I was able to skip the copter and the plane.
@detectivehoag I forgot the baby of the family. Oops! She hasn't been mentioned in the pipeline yet, I think? One of my favorite non-original series characters.
I kinda hope they could do a Snowcat for under 125. I'm probably dreaming but I'd rather see a retail release that they could reuse as a Tiger Cat repaint than as a Haslab. Maybe I'm misremembering the scale of it, but the 'cat felt closer to VAMP sized than HISS sized... but maybe I'm way off base.
I’m leaning toward it being the Mobat because of Steeler. 013 member and a draw for some fans. Probably release a different deco afterwards for regular retail. Mauler is better but they may save that for down the line because that’s the one more people want I’m assuming.
Snow Cat was also my first vehicle. Or among my first. I know I chose it over the AWE Striker, which in retrospect, I regretted, because snow adventures just seemed more limited. I don't think I love it enough to want a Classified version though.
@panthercult same here on the dragonfly figures. Particularly Glenda, and I don't even look for Wild Weasel. if they do a retro of him, really terrific. otherwise, he's not high enough on my list. but I would like him among my Cobra agents.
For the record, I did have a Whale. I got it on clearance at Sears or something. Probably my biggest pre-pubescent score.
Could that be because we only have Snow Job for the polar climate so far? If we were to get Iceberg, Frostbite, Cold Front, Avalanche, and other Joes in polar gear, might you feel differently? Thus Far Snow Job is the only team member lacking support, vs Snow Serpents, BATs, and Storm Shadow. Hasbro really needs to get him some back up.

Of those, I'd only really want Frostbite and Iceberg, as I didn't have the others growing up. But I always put Alpine with those arctic guys when I was playing with them. Really, any characters that didn't have rolled up sleeves, like Lifeline, Sneak Peek, Fast Draw, Airtight, etc. wound up joining arctic missions. But to my 9yo self, that got old quick. I wish I had a vehicle like the AWE Striker or VAMP for non-Arctic missions. That's where the HAVOC came in for me, but it was so cumbersome and unwieldy. Certainly not a high speed vehicle.
@normdapito Plus, the guy sitting out in the open and the two fellas in the front are easy targets once they shoot out the glass. The havoc was a rolling bullet magnet.
