Most of the potentially good designs for this guy were taken by Ra's al Ghul.

Man... you guys convinced me to grab one of those NightForce 2-packs on sale now to troop build that faction a little.   

I noticed the retro Stalker was down to $14 as well.   Super tempted to grab another of those, seems like full camo fatigues could come in handy for a future custom swap of some sort...

So... I ordered the 4H bear as well -  but specifically I ordered him as a mount for Vikor to ride in my MOTUC collection. 

 These bears won't serves as mount, just as awesome bears.   

oh man, I forgot about the bear. I kept getting emails telling me the window for po is closing, but thought there's wasn't anything I wanted from them. Money is to damn tight right now, but I really wanted them bears. Hopefully the become evergreens. I'd like to get some for that motuc conan Thundercats ultimates collection. 

 

What snake eyes are you referring to? And you meant 4 horsemen with the bear, right? I remember a bear but thought it was four horsemen but can't find it on their site. 

So - the post was referring to the upcoming 2-pack with Sunbow Snake Eyes and Polar Bear from Hasbro... I want multiples of that Polar Bear.

As for the 4 Horsemen grizzly bear mount -  the pre-order window for those from 4H directly closed months and months ago but it is still up for pre-order on BBTS right now, it's just pricey.    

Even so, I will make room for all the bears and cats I can on my shelves.. that is for sure.

Just got "shipping soon" notification for Dial-Tone from Pulse - assuming that means the whole wave is shipping... ten months early? Says 12/30/24 as the shipping date so... TODAY? 

Tempted to grab a backup of the Night Force two pack just to see if I can't get cleaner articulation from Quarrel and use the other one as a generic trooper. But I'm also actively avoiding army building at the moment. There really aren't that many stray extra heads kicking around that aren't generic helmets in this line, are there? I wonder if any marvel legends heads will fit on these bodies. Got so many extra SHIELD trooper heads I could use. 

My experience is that many of the main comic based Marvel Legends heads are a little too big for the Classified bodies - though not in every case...  the MCU heads are usually a closer fit.

And I happened to have both Quarrel and a SHIELD Agent lying around here and both of those female SHIELD heads are too big to work well on that Quarrel body.   They look a bit like bobble heads on there.     Star Wars Black heads might work but might be a touch small.    Too bad those three lines from the same company aren't actually the same scale.

In thinking about it the Valreia head from the Franklin/Valeria Legends 2-pack is on a smaller body and might fit on the Quarrel body better.   I don't have Valeria laying around,  but I did see someone say that set is down to $22 on Amazon right now, so might be worth a try?

@panthercult I'll try to pull out some extra MCU heads to see if they match up better. I always wanted to find a body that worked for MCU Crossbones so I could use both of the heads that came with that figure. (The thing that kills me with Legends is neck length - I've got a spare standard civilian suit body I cannot find a head to rest on appropriately cos the ball joint is so deep in the head of most newer figures.)

@docsilence just spitballing, but what about the Caucasian head from the marine sniper?

I've been kitbashing quite a bt lately, mostly Cobra people, but really sticking to mixing only within the Classified line. I did get a couple of 3D printed heads for some Call of Duty figures though. I'd really love if they do one female Joe in a balaclava, basically a lady Shockwave or Beach Head. Jinx's head isn't quite what I'm looking for.

Cover Girl looks great, but not sure about the baseball cap.  Love the accessories and alt head, although it does look a little heavy on the makeup.

Animated BAT looks great and I guess that mean the end of the line for my Super7 Ultimates version.

Tele-Viper looks as I expected.  Rolled up sleeves and Caucasian.   Also as I expected, looks to have a limited number of accessories.  I assume the extra heads pictured are just extra copies of the one head.

Flint looks great, but I still don't like the face.  Overall a great look on the original.

Green Shirt / Grunt looks to be based on the cartoon as well and will probably have to be army built.

The extra tele viper heads have words on the visor like on the cartoon.

I LOVE that Cover Girl figure.   It's perfect and SO different from the one already in the collection that it can actually be a totally different character. 

Retro Flint is great -  the original Flint was always one of my very favorite Joes back in the original 3.75" days, so I'm eager to get retro Flint as my main Flint for my display.

Tele Viper looks fine and fun.   It will be nice to be able to get him without having to buy an entire Trouble Bubble.   

And that BAT figure just does nothing for me.  I think I'm just BAT-ed out at this point.   I got so many of the original BAT and then Python Patrol BAT and then Crimson BAT, and then Arctic BAT and then Iron Grenadier BAT and it's just... how many BAT's do I really need?    This one has a red face plate, different colors on the chest components and lighter yellow on the straps and boots?   Not sure that's enough difference to warrant a purchase.  Maybe I'll muster one...

Anway these look great and I'm excited to add them to the collection.

Yeah I have no BATS but am Batted out as well. But they also don't fit with my shelf canon anyway.

@ru1977 I really need to pick one of those up - I kinda want to pop a Lady Jaye head on that body because the bucks on the Lady Jayes that I have are pretty shoddy and she's one of my favorite characters. 

Love those leaked pics. I don't need the Cover Girl with a hat head but the other looks great - love having both options for her, blonde and red. 

BAT - I'm also BATTED out at this point, but I do like the brighter yellow. Not a guaranteed buy for me but I do like it. 

Flint a top-three Joe for me and that buck is exactly what I was hoping for him. The head is so different from the original release but that's fine - alternate timeline Flint. I actually think this face looks more like what a "grown up" version of the original toy should look like, though I love the face sculpt on the figure that's already out though, one of my favorite faces in the line. It's weird, I think existing Flint: modern movie star face, retro one in the leak: could definitely be the lead in a black and white war movie, he's got old school movie star face. 

I do not want to army build anymore but I might be sold on getting two greenshirts so I can use both heads. Hasbro ALWAYS gets me with exhangeable heads. It's my kryptonite.
