oh man, I forgot about the bear. I kept getting emails telling me the window for po is closing, but thought there's wasn't anything I wanted from them. Money is to damn tight right now, but I really wanted them bears. Hopefully the become evergreens. I'd like to get some for that motuc conan Thundercats ultimates collection.So... I ordered the 4H bear as well - but specifically I ordered him as a mount for Vikor to ride in my MOTUC collection.
These bears won't serves as mount, just as awesome bears.
My soft spot and weakness is for cats, bears and foxes (well and otters, but they are far less likely to make into any aggressive fantasy line like this, so..) - when I majored in Zoology at university my concentration was on the evolutionary development and distribution of large carnivore species - I did multiple thesis papers on or around the subject - especially focusing on the families felidae, ursidae and mustelidae.
Anyway I find most figures of big cats and bears intriguing and nigh irresistible and these guys look like catnip for me. Previously the best Polar Bear figure we ever had was from the Golden Compass movie - and while those were fun for the time, they don't work well in a modern display. So I am stoked this set is coming.
If there's anyone that is only interested in the Snake Eyes from this set, hit me up, I'm certain to have extra(s).
What snake eyes are you referring to? And you meant 4 horsemen with the bear, right? I remember a bear but thought it was four horsemen but can't find it on their site.
Been juggling walmart purchases cause they keep lowering prices lol. So I keep ordering a new item, then return it on and older purchase ticket. I now have 2 falcon sets to return. And another warlord from marvel legends. If there was more stuff in the falcon set to justify 35 for parts, I'd get another set. But the quarrel don't offer much for me for 10 bucks. Top torso I'd use, but I'd just get a shooter for less and more parts, plus every damn custom female gonna end up with all the same damn parts lol. I already have a custom with that upper torso. Plus shooter and now quarrel. We need more females in the line. One day I'll get a cover girl and helix for parts. Just never see any discounts on them, or discounted enough to justify for fodder. Trying to find fodder trade partners is way harder than it was many years ago. I tried to navigate the tank on my phone. Not sure if it's a forum like it used to be or if I'm just not understanding something on the site to get me to interact. I've only been there on the computer and that was over 10 years ago. I guess I'll swing there ajd try it again.
So Amazon is saying the Zandar wave is shipping by the end of Jan2025 instead of Oct2025. Well that was quite a jump. I was expecting it sooner but not that soon. Finances are still reeling after the holidays.
@unclassified I have three falcon/quarrel sets to return now. Essentially, I got one in October but only wanted Falcon so I sold Quarrel. When it went up again a couple weeks ago, I decided I would like Quarrel, so I got it and sold Falcon. Then it went down to $40-something, so I ordered another and set a return on my second set. Then I realized Falcon is a perfect body for a custom I wanted to do, so I ordered a third set at the $30-something price, and realized I may as well get yet another and set a return for the second set. Today I realized, damn, the return window on the one I got in October is still open so I set a return for that and ordered yet another $30-something set. So I have one sitting on the shelf and waiting on two more to arrive so I can return them (one for $41, two for $55). I feel utterly ridiculous and see the situation as stupid, but... In the end, that first Falcon I kept will cost me $5, the Quarrel I kept from the second set will cost me $4, and the falcon body from the third set I kept will probably be around $4 as well. What I won't do is buy a set just to sell the parts. I'm only getting sets because I want something from it for myself OR to return it. Nothing against anyone who buys things on discount to flip, but in my experience, fate will have it sit there on ebay for months until I break even. I'm not meant to do that.
Hard to pass on the Walmart discounted sets. I grabbed Quarrel/Falcon as well as retro troopers.
I haven’t watched Xecorpeo’s Night Creeper mods yet. I’m gonna try the Jinx ones. Sometimes the range of motion increases don’t seem enough to bother with the mods.

Since we're talking about them, here's my custom Night Force Green and Red squad:
I'd army build a squad of six but the bare arms make it tough. I swapped some Outback arms onto the left trooper and painted the sleeves grey. So this squad is made up of, from left to right: Outback, Quarrel, Jinx, Falcon. Guns are Valaverse, scarves are from gpslot on ebay.

Blimey. Did they rework continuity to make him a Dreadnok? I’m not sure I like this look any better than his old one. And just how is the vampire angle fit in? I guess I’ll have to wait and see the finished product. I want to be optimistic, but I just don’t know.

@unclassified, the little sword on the left with the blue on it is likely from a Lightning Collection Beast Morphers character, and I bet the scythe next to it is from that creepy Fortnite guy with the suit and gas mask.
@ru1977 I'm sure once he is completely finished he'll look better, but I still don't really "feel" this look.
I get it is the old look with a bit of modernization to make it Classified, but I'm not sure it works. I guess we'll see once final images are seen.
Again, my personal preference would have been a more business suit type of look with some flair to make it a bit more appealing than simply "guy in a suit." I would have preferred that look and a back story more akin to him being a "mentalist" who goes around the world making money for Cobra with performances while also using those performances to put the rich and powerful under Cobra's influence.
