On a whim, I picked up the Tiger Force Snake Eyes ReAction figure at Target and now I DESPERATELY want this version of him in Classified form. It looks like Snake Eyes is wearing Tony the Tiger Pajamas. It is amazing. I need this in 1/12 scale. Please, Hasbro. Pleeeeease.
@supercamel-1982 Is water wet? (haha)
If there is money to be made I'm sure they have, at least, discussed doing deluxe Retro figures. I guess the question is what kind of card would they use? Marvel Legends use a larger card back for the bigger Retro releases (Kingpin, Rhino, Apocalypse, etc). So would they do the same for someone like Mutt & Junkyard? Or would they try and fit them on a regular Retro card and just cut the number of accessories?
I wonder if they also might try, one day, to do a Retro boxed vehicle? That would be a way to double dip on some of their bigger ticket items so they can get even more use out of a mold.

so far we got a rotty, pit and now a german shepard for dogs. Doberman would be nice. i would like a Bull terrier (my fav dog) but never gonna happen.
Yay to a german shepherd friend. I guess I'll find a use for the pack in he comes with.
Don't know if anyone (but me) cares at all - but BBTS has Grunt on sale currently for $18. It's not super deep discount... but cheaper than retail and it's the ideal outfit for head swapping front line soldiers.
$18 is what I hope for this time of year. The $10-15 ones this month were total surprises and awesome, but I think $18 is more reasonable.
BBTS has the Viper set for $36, which is REAL tempting. I don't need more Vipers but I already imagined where they'd go on the shelf, and probably remove the forearms on these guys if they actually match the neck skin color this time. but nah... I don't need more Vipers.
Looking forward to Law and Order. They were my first Joe/pet combo, so they're the ones that mean the most to me.

Yeah - I've had to limit my Cobra forces army building a bit - it's too easy to get crazy. But having a few "grunts" to run interference with all the Cobra cannon fodder comes in handy for the Joes - so picking up a few extras of those for head swaps is definitely something I wanted to do.
@panthercult yeah, good idea. The new Breaker looks to use the same body but with different arms, so he may lend to more grunts as well.
Law & Order looks sweet but I'm a little tired of paying $45 for deluxe packs with the same dog sculpt over and over. Law looks fantastic on that Outback buck at least, just wish we could skip this whole song and dance, we know they're going to go on sale everywhere, just release it at $35.
At least Order comes with some fun armor. I think it's just this time of year, all the sales, all the consumerism, just an annoying reminder that all this stuff is horribly over-priced.
So The Full Force Podcast posted a video of an interview with Lenny and Tony from the Joe team.
Not much in the way of "reveals" as usual. However a couple of interesting tidbits (for me at least):
-Classified story behind Frag Viper is he is an "enhanced" human. According to Lenny he has a unique headsculpt under the helmet.
-The polar bear that comes with the M.A.S.S. Device Snake-Eyes will be approximately 9" tall on it's hind legs, and yes it can stand on it's hind legs. Lenny said it will be heavy enough to hold a door open. Also the two pack will be it's own pricepoint and not figure and pet, or vehicle and driver.
More to be revealed I'm sure, but I had to pause for a bit.
So maybe 54.99 to 59.99 for the SnakeEyes and Polar Bear? Hopefully it’s not over $60. Or maybe it will be? Like Crystal and Lockjaw? God that would suck.
Man... I know I'm going to own multiple Polar Bears.
Man... I know I'm going to own multiple Polar Bears.
Put this down as something I didn't think I would ever say, or think, in 2024/25. Or really ever.
Let's hope the price point isn't too crazy.
Also I took a quick look at size comparisons to see where the Polar Bear might land. According to what is out there it seems like the recent Hulkbuster (I don't have it yet) is just over 9 inches. Then the deluxe Red Hulk (MCU) is also supposed to be around 9 inches. Odin is 8 inches. So we can probably guess the Polar Bear is going to be between Odin and Hulkbuster size, according to what Lenny said.
My worry now is price. Something that big on it's own is already going for what $60US? Then add in a standard size figure, with all those accessories, PLUS possible inflation/tariff/whatever increases and could we see this set as a $75-$80US offering?
I kinda wonder if I would've skipped the Mythic Legions bear if I'd known we were getting a classified bear. 4H will produced an absolute work of art but the Classified one will still be more readily displayed and probably less beefy in a good way. (I was just puttering with my small-ish McFarlane collection and wondering why everything's so dang HEAVY but doesn't have the range of motion of any Hasbro lines.)
I've said it before, but I'll say it again - Joes with animal companions, I love them enough to just buy them. I adored Law and Order as a kid because of that dog. No chance I'm not preordering him. I'm getting pickier but if they keep sticking animals in these boxes I'll just keep buying them.
