If either of those Breakers come with a comms backpack attached to his helmet with a hose, I'm buying it just for that. Same for a bubble gum option.
Likely one will be comms hose and the other bubble gum, and I'd buy both.
@canprime I feel like these are two completely different characters. Time will tell!
@fletch leaks show two different holes in his pack, I think it's a safe bet he will have his helmet hose.
I'm stoked for upcoming figs, Darklon in particular looks exciting with his big plasma blade and fun deco. But I'm also very disappointed in the neck double barbell and butterfly joint range lately, as well as range on the upper barbell torsos. It's really night and day difference between the neck and butterfly range on say, Outback compared to recent figures. Just a little rant that I've made time and time again, I'm sorry for the redundancy but it just feels like such a waste to regress in articulation this far into the line. Darklon, as mentioned, looks great but he's gonna have absolutely no head and butterfly range, judging on the leaks. I'm looking at Dice and wondering if he can bring his arms forwards at all without completely rotating the shoulder armor ever time.
@ru1977 Alpine's superb. Do wish they gave him a backpack though.
Funny thing with the Night Creeper is I had him in my Amazon cart for like six weeks waiting for a sale. I stalked that figure. Still failed to get him at the best price.
@docsilence yeah the backpack is a shame but a lot of my guys go without depending on how tight I have them huddled together on the shelf.
And that REALLY sucks on the Night Creeper. But maybe next year? I'm already making my list for then, like Dial Tone and Leatherneck etc. I also still can't get Bazooka because the jersey has always bothered me, even though he got cheap this season, so I'm hoping for the V3 figure to happen
Wait a sec, THIS look's an improvement?
When put through the classified treatment, absolutely.

This is the “fishing excursion” Bazooka. Fish sold separately.
Saw a review of Leatherneck in hand and he's about the same size as the SAW Viper y'all are complaining about. Next to Slaughter or Serpentor, sure, they have an air of the short kings about them but with regular Joes (ah, no pun intended), they look all right to me. Was surprised about Leatherneck though, his ME version was on the larger side compared to others.

odd. I always thought of Leatherneck as compatible to Gung-ho and Roadblock. A short version is unexpected.
I’ve no connection to that Saw Viper, so I’m less concerned about how he scales. But Leatherneck was one of my favs growing up, and if he’s too short, I’ll be so disappointed. I know in the 4” line, they wound up reusing the Dwayne Johnson Roadblock body for him, which I thought was too big. But he should at least be average height, not too short.
Leatherneck's figure looks scrawny to me. I'm not a big fan of the vest, either. But those sunglasses look and fit fantastically.
What surprises me the most is the reuse of the Airborne legs. They're very long and have those ugly ankle discs showing. I'm not surprised to see them reused on a paratrooper since the long length kind of works when you imagine the harness pulling up at the crotch, but on a ground troop they look weird to me.
He's not a bad figure by any means but I do think they could have done a better job with more new parts or even different parts.
So, I'm wondering if there is an issue with the wave in general then. Did the factory accidentally mix up the scale size - or someone sending specs to the factory made a mistake that ended up with this wave of figures being smaller than intended... or did Hasbro make a conscious choice to try and save on materials by making the figures slightly smaller and hoping it wouldn't make a big difference to consumers?
I'm with Norm... I could skip a tiny Saw Viper and not care about that at all. I've got lots of Cobra troops, I won't miss him. But if Leatherneck comes out wrong, that's a problem. Are Zandar and Dial Tone also going to be tiny?
Man, if Heavy Duty comes out small, I'm going to riot.
Was it here or another site I frequent... Or do I dream it. But I saw a former marine saying Leathernecks sleeves were wrong. Maybe it's silly but that already turned me off to the figure
I don't mind short kings in this line if they're not really odd about it. I always thought Leatherneck was "big average" (more like Rock n Roll than Gung Ho) but that's just me. If they wanted more variation in heights I'm good with that as long as it's not obviously someone who should be huge. If Heavy Duty is shorter than Roadblock but still thicc, won't bother me none. (Apropos of nothing I actually just muttered "I could live with a five foot nine Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow" but a change in scale would drive everyone nuts).
Didn't Legends run into some weird factory run where all the figures were a little too small one year a while back? I remember there being some problem where the factory used a different plastic and everyone came out just slightly too small.
