DAmazing has a little review of SAW Viper.  Dude's tiny! 

I got shooter in from Wal Mart already. Yea, her gun sucked. I tried altering it and it wouldn't work so I gave her a Gun Runners sniper. Otherwise she's not a bad figure. Her elbows are a different shade then her arms. And her head looks a little small. But so do some of the other ones.

Just between us, I bought an entire weapons pack just to give Shooter a better sniper rifle.

Now Walmart has Jinx for $10.

To demonstrate how stupid I am, and more to the point cheap... I bought her when Amazon had her on sale, then Walmart had her a little cheaper. So I have an Amazon return to make. Now Walmart has her a lot cheaper... so I have a Walmart return to make as well. I have bought Jinx three times in the last two weeks. And yeah, I know I could probably call CS and do a whole "just refund me the difference" thing but I'm just not that type of person. There's a Walmart on the way to work, it's easy enough to just drop it off there. But my wife made a face and asked if it's really worth it. I'm saving $8!

I also found Doc and Grunt for $15 each, and I finally got a Hawk that was fulfilled properly and I love him.

Doctors should be able to fix short guy height, they don't want to though so they gotta taste the SAW.

She's $10 on Amazon now too — thankfully, I don't have Walmart+ or whatever it is and I gotta hit that $35 threshold for free shipping ...

And yes, that $8 is totally worth the trouble.

@grumpymatt Thank you. Also about Amazon... this will add to my ridiculousness but I cancelled the Walmart one and ordered from Amazon instead. Partly just to have no ordered four Jinxes, sorta, but also I didn't realize when I did the Walmart order I'd used the wrong card. So, eh. Whatever.

I don't mind height variation from figures, but I really feel like SAW Viper should be a big dude. There's Vipers I wouldn't mind being on the shorter side but SAW always felt a bit like he should be the type to throw his size around. 

My memory of the SAW Viper '89 figure was that he was skinny/small - especially compared to the bulky dude in the comics.

Classified stream before 2025? 

I can’t remember. Did we get any info in Dec 2023?

I know leaks come hot and heavy lately. We may know what’s to come up into the Fall 2025 so far, especially with 2025 delays.

Definitely feels like they thought they'd offset some of the costs of a whole new sculpt for SAW Viper by tweaking the scale down a couple of percent - which would definitely reduce the material costs, at least. But it also seems like someone made a mistake and dropped the scale by 9 percent instead of 6 percent or something (which would be a difference of maybe just over an eighth of an inch, by the way - maybe I'm on to something).

I honestly think I'm going to cancel that pre-order and skip.   I don't think I need the shrimpy soldier in the collection.

Yeah... I was really into the idea of getting SAW Viper until I say D's video. I have no problem with height variation. I'm in favor of it, in fact. But this doesn't feel like HEIGHT. It feels like the entire figure is shrunk down to a different scale. And even for height variation, I definitely think this would be the wrong figure to do that with anyway.

I need it in hand to get a better idea. It is still an interesting design so I’m buying one.
