I'll take all the PoC designs.  Heck I might even spring for Arctic Destro this time 🤣 🤣

If I had to name a few most-wanted PoC designs, it would be Jungle Duke, Dusty, Desert Storm Shadow, and Steel Brigade.

A lot of good choices already. I was thinking Pursuit of Cobra pushed the concept just enough, and better than the initial Classified releases in my opinion. I also appreciated how they slipped through some Predator-ish characters, and a POC Spirit is absolutely one I'd want in Classified. Night Fox is another great call, as well as Dusty. I'd also be into the POC Shock Trooper, I imagine that would be amazing at this scale. I also think Resolute Firefly and Retaliation Airborne are ones I'd grab if done in six inch.

Yep, the Shock Trooper was awesome and would be amazing at this scale.

He came a couple years later but this guy would be great to get as well ... with or without a Channing Tatum likeness.

@grumpymatt Agreed. I wasn't a big fan of Rise of Cobra but feel a Channing Duke figure in Classified would be pretty cool. And didn't he come with a masked head? Then got repainted as Sightline:

Sightline (2015)

Another one I wouldn't be surprised to see in Classified, and would definitely grab. I feel like they could make a new vest and have this figure already.

Also I think a Classified Retaliation Snake Eyes would replace my current visor Snake Eyes if they do that.

Jax on X: "REAL TALK Is there a place to find the GI Joe Retaliation Snake Eyes Costume? Snake Eyes was always my favorite GI Joe growing up and I have a

And if someone wanted to do a Marlon Wayans figure, I would vote for the Jungle Assault version:

G.I. Joe: The Rise of COBRA - Ripcord (Jungle Assault)

Jungle BAT from POC would be fun to see a Classified version. The minigun interpretation and the camo is exciting to see in 6”.

POC was Shadow Trackers debut right? The Iron Grenadier look in LOC was awesome too.

Thwipp!

I really did like a lot of the Pursuit of Cobra designs, but the one I really loved was whatever Mad Max desert survivor Zartan thing they had going on there. That figure was fantastic IMO. I'd pick him up in a heartbeat for Classified.

I wouldn't mind if the team/Lenny took a shot at updating the Data Viper.   I still have a couple of them on card, and one opened.   The design was definitely over the top and too busy, but I liked that they took a shot at something more modern/different.   Also it had the drone that came with the Duke as well (don't remember who released first), and I still think that type of accessory is a great addition/update.

I'm impressed by how much of the Pursuit of Cobra you folks remember. I collected most of it, and I barely recall any of those designs. Only on seeing some of the pics you've posted am I reminded. That Dusty update was one of the first ones that really floored me. The most memorable design to me was the Jungle Viper. But I agree with KD in that the ones that drew me the most were the ones more faithful to the original designs. I remember amazing versions of Blowtorch and Airtight, maybe Lifeline too? I'm sure the Classified version of Snow Job got lots of inspiration from the PoC version. Low Light is basically the same figure. Sci Fi and Techno Viper were also beauts.

@normdapito I'm familiar with POC only because I got a lot of them for my son. When he was born, I discovered a sweet backdoor way of collecting through him. He doesn't play with his toys much anymore but he still has all his Star Wars figures I started buying when he was a baby, and a ton of Transformers because that's just how I collect I guess. And his 1/18 GI Joes he's actually selling off on ebay, so those are the toys he didn't connect with as much, but he had over sixty of them, and POC was probably around the time I started getting Joes for him. And I really was into a lot of those designs. My Beachhead obsession was at the forefront then too because I had gotten him two, but switched one's arms out for the coat arms from the movie Snake Eyes and I painted a skull on his mask like Ghost from Modern Warfare.

If my son hadn't come along, I probably wouldn't have been paying as much attention to GI Joe figures in the early two thousand-tens. And if I hadn't gone through them all a few months ago to catalog, match weapons, photograph, and list on ebay for him, I may not have decided I needed Joes of my own and jumped into Classified with both feet.

@ru1977 you mentioned matching weapons. I feel like I've been on a 10 year off and on project organizing weapons from 25th/POC/Retaliation eras.  I recently had another burst of organizing and I'm left with a good sized batch of weapons I'm not sure who to place them with. I find handguns to be so tough. Some of the reference pics are very low res and I'm cautious using loose eBay photos as reference.

@mrboshek Yeah, absolutely! I think I was pretty lucky, and he did a great job of keeping them put away in a tin, but I mostly used yojoe.com and my memory was still relatively good about it. but yeah, I still have a good amount of swords and guns in that tin, so I may just do some bulk weapon listings. I also wouldn't trust ebay listings as reference, for sure. but I'm also one of those idiots who will message sellers to give as-friendly-as-I-can-but-surely-it-comes-across-as-jerky-nitpicking head's up that they have the wrong weapon with that figure. I had a black series seller get pretty colorful at me in his response, heh. I never do it accusatory, just informing and suggesting they clarify that in the listing. Once in a while I'll find something on ebay with the wrong accessory, but it's a better accessory than the proper one so it's a score.

Speaking of Retaliation, Ultimate Duke and Data Viper have been mentioned and both would make amazing classified figures, personally I have a need for Cobra Combat Ninja and GI Joe Trooper:

(Although I much prefer then tan cape version)

Guess it must be a slow Classified release month that we're back to talking about wishlist figs lol

I'll take the blame since I kicked off the POC discussion, but I am constantly wishlisting at work, heh.

It's all good.  The thing I remember most about Retaliation figures is just how hog-wild Hasbro went with accessories on certain figures, Ultimate Duke and Cobra Combat Ninja in particular.  Then you'd have like, that ugly Firefly figure and he'd come with some silly dildo launcher.  Or Roadblock with his hand with a gun permanently sculpted into it.  The hunt was real, going to Walgreens every day looking for the good stuff, but the shelves would be stocked with the "bad" Duke figure and Roadblock all the time.

I think Hasbro has learned from the Retaliation line because the figures we get now are often loaded with gear.  We chose Ultimate Duke over standard Duke every time.  I don't know what they were smoking when they decided to give one figure eight rifles and a rocket launcher but damn, as the kids say, he ATE!

vs

Now if only they could give us multiple heads again on mainline figures instead of only the $35 figures, we'd really be golden.
