It’ll be interesting to see the final take on CB. Whether they’re making him the real thing, or a vampire-obsessed, gothic wanna-be. While I was hoping they’d go more of a “Rasputin” look, this may turn out to be a better figure than I expected for a character I wasn’t that interested in.
The OG Crystal Ball always had a little too much "Kraven the Hunter" in the design for me, so I'm hoping the Classified version deviates at least slightly from that motif, at least for the main line release.
If they do a retro, then hewing back to the vintage look would be appropriate.

As one who usually ignores the wackier side of Cobra (Raptor, Big Boa, Cess Pool, Cobra La etc), I find myself surprisingly digging the Crystal Ball test shot.

I'm impressed by the washboard abs on the Collector's Club CB. He must be about 65 years old? Probably hypnotized himself into a regular exercise plan and healthy eating habits.

Went to GS and found Quick kick yesterday
Anyway....
I was looking at some of the designs for the Pursuit of Cobra line. Some of those, I would pounce on if they did them exactly the same but six inches. I already got both versions of Beachhead but I'd get a POC version too since he looks different enough to be a separate character.
I could be down for som Pursuit of Cobra designs. The one's I'd want most would be Spirit, Night Fox and Quick Kick... but I'd go for that Beachhead. And a Jungle Viper would be crazy. Oh and Temple Guardian Snake Eyes... I've never seen that in person but I wouldn't mind having that as a thing.

Pursuit of Cobra has some cool stuff. POC was one of only two times I've ever liked a General Hawk design. But Pursuit and Retaliation are still, in my opinion, only as good as they were because of all the figures that were just straight up good and faithful remakes of the vintage figures. Same as Classified. Never against moving forward and trying new things, but something about those original designs, most of the time, just hits right.
