They look ridiculous, in a good way. I would consider getting them maybe. I'll have to see.

Just noticed Walmart basically pulled the listing for the Falcon/Quarrel Night Force two-pack. It's still there but they removed any reference to the figures in the title and it's list out of stock.

I meant to pick it up when it was initially released, never did and had been dragging my feet on the set thinking I could grab it at a sale price. I caved late last week when it popped back in stock. Glad I did.

Between this set and the Tiger Paw nonsense, it seems to back up reports that they are cutting production numbers on these exclusives. I think I'll be back in the mode of jumping on things when they're first released.

Even the Classified Joes at Ross seem much less compared to last year. No stragglers like Tomax or Xamot which should have been TF Flint and Dusty but even they disappeared quickly. Cut backs on production seem real likely. Even the regular stores don’t have enough leftover stock of classifieds to offload to discount outlets.

Slice and Dice are looking incredible with all those overlays.  I love how similar-yet-different they are, like their similar feet with different boots.  Hoping these guys have proper neck swivel-balljoints and not these shite barbells with no range (Raptor).  Honestly and I hate to be a debbie-downer, but really after Raptor and all these goons with barbell upper torsos that don't move, I'm losing faith in the articulation of these figures.  Slice looks to have Storm Shadow's upper body with decent butterfly joints but Dice doesn't look like he'll be able to use butterflies at all.

@leor I'm sure they cut back production, but the reality is that there is a minimum they have to make to make it worth their while to produce the toys in the first place.   At least for retail.   That means there will always be overstock due to lack sales, interest, or just poor reception by the public.  With the rise of liquidators it means most retailers can now just sell off unsold stock rather than discount it themselves.   So the incentive to put stuff on sale or clearance is lowered.   Doesn't mean it doesn't happen of course.

Looking at the Ollie's and Ross toy hunt videos it seems like product is still showing up there in enough quantities to make me think that way.   Also they seem to be about a year behind on the product stock for the most part.  They are currently running with 2023 stock so it may be even less next year with 2024 stock, but we won't know for sure until next year.

Got my retro Snow Serpent.  Only issue is yet another figure that if I try to twist at the waist I know it will snap in half.  Was hoping this wasn't still an issue.

I broke both my Steel Corps males that way. 🙁 Repair was a PITA. Now I just put them in hot water if there's any resistance.

I tried that with Low Light and it still snapped, so I just accept them as is if I find they are locked at the waist.

@mr-potatohead same here. I think I've been lucky, only breaking the first classified I ever got. After that, I won't test those right joints ever again

Wonder when in 2025 we see Slice and Dice, Fall/Winter? It’s gonna be a long wait for those.

Thwipp!

And are they a set or individuals?

@ru1977 The rumour, or currently belief, is that they are a two pack.

@ru1977 Looks good.  I get what they were going for by sticking close to the original look with a longer overcoat/vest.  However I kind of had in my head a slightly different take with a more business attire look.   That's just my wish, I'm still good with this look.

Also is that fangs in his mouth?

I can't tell. I was thinking an untrimmed mustache? But I didn't look that hard. Honestly, the coat got me more interested just because he'll stand out from the other cobras.

Edit - looked again, yeah definitely looks like fangs

Seems like they are going for a vampire motif since Crystal Ball is supposed to hypnotize people?  Interesting.
