Slice and Dice are okay in the o-ring looks. I never got those. The ones I really wanted were club exclusives right in the 4” 25th anniversary style. Those 4” figures look so damn cool! Multiple masks with Classified? Oh man. These will be awesome!
Hasbro! Where the freak is my Dragon Fly. Seems everyone is getting theirs. The silly label on FedEx app shows made 10/30 and awaiting product. It’s driving me bonkers.
Classified has given me opportunity to get figs of characters I didn’t get in the late 80s-early 90s and they make them so much cooler! Darklon? Frag Viper? Yes I want em!
Thwipp!
Seeing them makes me remember the cancelled 95 ninja force wave. Just skip Storm Shadow though
Yes! More ninjas! My approach to this line is very Cannon Films, mostly ninjas and biker gangs. And I've been hoping for Slice & Dice to show up for a while now.
I wouldn't know Slice or Dice if I saw them. Purchasing them would be purely impulse at this point. I know nothing about them, but if they look cool to me in person, then it's a maybe.
@normdapito I read the comics and still don't know a lot about them, heh.
They just seem like they went into corny territory. A lot of latter day Joes leaned in that direction for me. They're just not what I picture when I think of this brand.@normdapito I read the comics and still don't know a lot about them, heh.
@normdapito I think that's fair. They definitely were leaning more into goofy in that era. I think after the Snake Eyes trilogy, and the storyline we were all discussing with the SAW Viper, that's when I was dropping interest in the comics. Though I would likely get a proper Storm Shadow V3 if they did it. He and Snake Eyes, I freely admit, I'm a sucker for. I just, like five minutes ago, figured out how to justify a Desert Snake Eyes on the shelf finally, heh.

Just to piggyback this, since I didn't know, here's details:
The five Ninja Commandos were going to be-
- Budo
- Stormshadow
- Road Pig
- Flint
- Knock-Out
Boy, these are some horribly ugly toys! Budo and Road Pig, however, both look great and I would have wanted them as a kid. Apparently Budo was repainted and released as Shang Tsung. Would love to make a modern Road Pig Ninja Force if I can find an extra cheap to mod.
So the new Storm Shadow was delivered to me from Amazon last night and I think it is legitimately the first Classified figure that I just straight up don't like.
From the goofy as hell "L and T" black marks all over his outfit which look just as ridiculous in person to the comically oversized belt/skirt set up paired with the tiniest hood making him look pin headed with child-bearing hips. It is just an all around awful aesthetic combination. I am legitimately sad I bought this figure.
I was hoping the skirt piece would be removable by snapping it off, but it will have to be cut off with an exacto. It might not be quite so bad if it didn't have the giant white pouches on the front - holy hell do they make the effect so much worse. And if the hood weren't shrink wrapped around his head it might not contribute to the proportions looking so preposterous. The puffy pants on the thighs don't help the overall effect much either.
This is, without a doubt my least favorite firgure from the classified line to date
Apart from Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Jinx, Slice & Dice are the only other ninjas I have time for. I know nothing about them, I just like the cut of their jib far more than all those other bozos.
@panthercult I have to agree. I love Storm Shadow and was a fan of the original ARAH version of this look but this one is just lacking in all regards. Probably one of the most disappointing Classified releases so far, at least for me.
@revox I'll give you that... when the other Ninja Force guys just appeared in the comics, I definitely had a 'who the hell are these guys' moment. I never accepted them. As cool as the Classified Nunchuck figure looks, I'll probably never purchase him.
With the Storm Shadow V2 figure... I decided I'll get the retro version should they do one, then this guy maybe I can add an eye patch and have him be a Billy.

Heat up the legs, pop them off, then slide the belt off. I'm looking at the white pouches, they might be glued on? Possibly the sheaths too. If they are, a hot bath might loosen up the glue.
Some of these knee joints lately. I feel like I'm going to break my fingers trying to bend them.
For real, the knee tolerances have been so wacky. IG BAT just arrived and one knee is like bending metal to bend and the other just flops between two ratchet spots. Pretty underwhelmed with IG BAT but he's simply old news. He's not bad, just boring. Shame about that Storm Shadow, as a fan of ninja figures. Ralph aka Nunchuck is great if you're like me and color block your figures, so you can sneak a ninja in with all the green dudes.
I love the idea of Ninja Road Pig. A big burly guy who's either an impossible glacier or shockingly agile is always a fun element in chanbara, I want to learn about how Road Pig began to study the blade.
