Maaaaan, DHL domestic shipping sucks! I think 2 days it's the longest I've ever waited for something from Pulse, but they shipped my Nemesis DHL. I'm in Ohio, but they took my package from Illinois to Kentucky, where it hasn't updated for the past 3 days...
Yeah DHL is actual pony express I think, guys on horseback. My Nemesis should be here Super Tuesday.
Thwipp!
See, that's funny, because when I have the misfortune to have an American supplier choose DHL for me (like getting a single item from BBTS vs when I ship a huge Pile of Loot), it takes forever, but when I choose DHL from Asia (especially Hobby Link Japan), it's often faster than Amazon's supposed "2 day," lol.
I never thought about it before now, but yeah - on those rare occasions I order something from Japan DHL is super fast delivery. I don't order a ton from Hobby Link Japan but it's like DHL teleports it here. Very different with US-based companies.
I'm in the same DHL boat. Apparently it made it to my town 3 days ago and is just sitting there.

it is their version of ups sure post/fedex smartpost where dhl moves it by ground then hands off to usps for delivery. FedEx and ups will usually deliver without handing it off to usps which cuts down transit time. Dhl doesn’t do that.
hopefully this isn’t going to be the norm with pulse going forward. I was receiving stuff in 1-2 days before. The couple times they went with dhl it was about a week. Shouldn’t be happening with pulse premium
I'm wondering if they've moved most of the shipping to DHL as a cost savings. I really hope not but my last 3 deliveries from them have been DHL.
I'm not into Cobra-La but Serpentor, Nemesis Enforcer, and Once a Man Cobra Commander look absolutely gorgeous together. I hope to one day have a Classified collection of such weird and garish figures if they make Ninja Force, ECO Warriors, or any other weird 90s dudes. My collection of Joes in particular is mostly one big green block, which I love, but I'm ready for some NEONS! I hate how stoked I am for something that doesn't exist 🤣 they'll run out of boring figures like Leatherneck (Sorry not-sorry) eventually!
It will be interesting to see how Classified interprets the neon era of GIJoe. I'm guessing the announced Snake-Eyes v4 won't have neon weapons. Maybe some of those 90s era Joe won't look too bad without their neon weapons. But I find the look of so many of that eras figures too garish for my tastes. Easy skips unless they're toned down quite a bit. No Ninja Force. No Eco-Force. No DEF. I'm not saying they don't have a place in Classified, as I think the line should encompass all eras of Joe. It's just a bunch of stuff I'll be able to skip. Hell, I'd rather have Sgt Savage figures, as those can fit in more easily as a cross-time adventure.
BBTS charged for the new Storm Shadow. I'll ship him when a couple more things come in.
Nemesis has arrived.
I’m still playing around with him. I go back and forth on the wings. I feel he should have been 1/8-1/4” taller. I really dislike the sheathes. Love the sculpt and accessories especially the creature buddies. That cephalopod is awesome! I like the bone armor head more than the more classic look.
It’s creepy for sure. I like it. Just sone things I’m working through. It’s an imposing fig.
Thwipp!
Saw a few Tiger Paws n my area. Looks like those restocks are making the rounds by me.
After the discussion about DHL the other day, I went looking for what the heck happened to my Nemesis figure since I got shipping well over a week ago and usually Pulse is super fast. Yep! They're using DHL now. I mean, I could stand to have a little more patience with shipping speeds, but it's wild how much slower they are than the other options.
Glad the Tiger Paw is showing up in places. I legit haven't stopped messing with mine since I bought it. It's just a fun, fun toy.
For whatever it's worth, I DID get my Nemesis today. I still can't figure out it's cheaper to have DHL drive it through a few states before passing it off to the post office, than just having the post office bring it here, but at least it showed up. He's very cool. I'm actually ok with the wings, they're a bit small, but they look really good. I'm glad it wasn't any trouble to remove the hip sheathes. I really miss the range of motion in the neck this line had early on. He's got plenty of points of articulation, but a lot of those have been getting more restricted lately. And, once again, these backpacks REALLY need a shaped peg, rather than just a round post. Overall a very cool release, I'm happy to have him
Someone on hisstank.com speculated Pulse was shipping heavier packages dhl. I thought it was a plausible idea, but then Pulse shipped my TVC E-Wing with FedEx.
