I’ve been seeing Tiger Paws open up on that app for the last three days. Probably stock hitting the local Targets.

Including the bunker set up with this Trench Viper was a bad marketing move. I haven't bought one Trench Viper set yet and I love this color scheme.  I normally buy 8-10 to army build but I don't have the space to include both when buying vehicles and vehicles and figures from other companies. I'm going to speculate and say they probably will end up losing around half their sales on this due to the bunker set up. They should have offered the bunker set up separately so those fans who Army build maybe would like to include the bunker set up with their previously bought Vipers. The fans who do want this Viper due to the color scheme will wait it out and see if the set eventually goes on sale.

I really can't stress enough how good (most) Valaverse guns and weapons are for classified.  Get that big gun tin and you'll be set for a while.  They're solid and not bendy, well-painted, scale well.  They're not all great, some are going to look a little big, but most of them are great.  I'd say I have about a quarter of my Classifieds with Valaverse guns.

The best set they ever made was the prototype weapons pack which was just a ton of guns in all-black for cheap.  It's a real shame they don't still have that one available.

Same here. I bought quite a few of the smaller packs for specific guns they had in them, and most of them are really good. The pistols are all a bit thin. But all the rifles and shotguns are nice. The paint wears off the gun mags though with use.

I also got some guns from Marauder Gun Runners, cause they also do amazing work for a great price, and they have removable attachments that you can mix and match. Their Tar and their Scar are both really good. And they have a few of the guns John Wick uses, so I got those as well. Their swords though, even though they only have 2 styles (and it's actually just the same style in different colors), is probably the best sword I've ever bought for a figure. It comes with a sheath, fully painted, very well done, and it's very good quality. I bought quite a few of those because of how much I like them. Their 1/12 selection isn't very large though, that's the only drawback. But they do have a couple pistols (also the best 1911 I've ever gotten), a few ARs, and a couple snipers. I think they only have the one breacher shotgun, which kinda sucks. But I honestly can't recommend them enough.

I just got some Marauder guns as well, and very happy with them. I also just started looking harder at the Valaverse stuff, but nothing I'm super excited for. That gun collection though... works out to a great price per weapon.

I disagree.

This is probably the best way for Hasbro to offer the product (for them, not us).   The "Modular Fortification" on it's own would be tricky.    Already there seems to be a bit of apathy about it.   Some love it, some hate it, but it seems to me the middle ground is where a lot of people are landing.   Don't hate it, don't love it, just "ok."   It does seem like people like like the Trench Viper more than the fortification.  So on it's own, without a figure, might be a tough sell.  Especially with trying to figure out how to price it without a figure so that people would fine "value" in the purchase.

Then look at the recent history of troop builder repaints.   Outside of BATS, I don't think any of the others have really blown the doors off with collectors (even then the BATs may be questionable as well).   The seemingly endless Vipers, Crimson Alley Viper, Troopers, etc.   It seems like all of them end up either on clearance, or sitting for a while.  So while troop builders have an inherent multi-purchase factor built in, there is a point where you get diminishing returns with a troop builder.

So overall I think it was probably the best option for Hasbo, especially going the exclusive route.   If it sells out quickly (which it hasn't) they can rerun it, or repaint it for a retailer.   If it doesn't they only have to worry about selling what they have on Pulse.   So it limits there exposure on this.

I could see some reuse coming off this bunker.  A “checkpoint alpha”

I lucked out a year or two back - ordered the big tin of Valaverse guns and ended up getting two shipped to me. I actually reached out about it and they told me to just keep it. More guns than I'll ever need! I'm not buying any of the other Vala stuff, but the guns are solid.

@canprime Yeah, I agree with what you posted. However the best option would have been not to include the bunker set. It's like I posted, could have had a sell of $199.92 or $249.90 instead of $0. I will see and wait for a sell if one happens or later on they sell the Trench Viper without the bunker set.

The Classified crew has said they'll always try to make something playable out of the packaging and will include a figure with everything just so nobody's buying a thing that just sits there waiting for a person to interact with it.  With that in mind, a playset that itself is buildable that includes an army builder figure is pretty smart.  If you want two trench vipers, you're not stuck with an extra bunker, you now actually have an extra-tall bunker.  With more sandbags and bollards around it.

Buuuuut, I'm not interested in another troop type for Cobra, and I find the bunker design itself to be really boring.  So while I appreciate the concept, I'll just look forward to their next efforts on this and see if it's a little jazzy-er.

I'm also with Vicious. I've no interest in a Hasbro weapons pack as long as I can keep getting Valaverse guns.  They're not really great for arming squads of troops since each gun is unique and/or painted differently, but they're really high-quality.

If only they could bend the rules a tiny bit in regards to selling a Pulse exclusive.  Maybe it would be a nice thing for us to be able to buy just walls at a good price directly from Hasbro, but that hasn't really been the way they do things in the past.  Doubt the team has much say, surely it's something handed-down.  Just my two cents.  I'm not in a rush to pick it up, although I almost want to just to support similar projects.  Price is just very high.  I like that picture with them assembled as a wall but that's almost $400 to set up!

Yeah, I'd love the ability to just buy the fortification in bulk, but I get why that's not a really appealing prospect for most people and definitely not for Hasbro.

Found a Tiger Paw on the shelf this morning.  It was also JUST available for shipping (literally 10 seconds ago as of 11:07AM east) but is now gone again.
