Oh no... the missile suits would likely go into the fodder bin or the trash, maybe I could repurpose one for cobra operative in a similar vein or something - but it's the base body and heads I love.
The first head with the flat top, and honestly the build of the figure looks like it might make a good Six Pack GW Bridge for my Marvel Legends with a little paint and part swapping. And then I think there are probably some good mix and match opportunities with some Road block pieces and extra heads I have from ML Cage, etc. to make fresh soldiers for the ranks
And he's up on Amazon now. Just got my pre-order in.
@vicious7171 Nice, but I wonder how feasible it is to actually use the wings based on how they would have to be attached to NI. Those pics, based on the shadows behind the wings, are NI laying down flat with the wings behind him.
@canprime yep, Dan confirmed they don't fit without modification.
"The figure is just laying on top of the wings in these pics. It would take some heat to remove the wings from the backpack and I don't want to risk breaking anything just yet. I'm going to let someone else take the first step on that mod."
Trench Viper is up on Pulse. I'm a little bummed that it's a Pulse exclusive. I'm also feeling like it's kind of a half-hearted design? Like, I see how you can clip multiples together, but then you won't have a floor or ceiling on the pieces in-between. Still very cool but could have been cooler.
Im at the point with my Classified stuff where I just don't have room for the diorama stuff and can't pay more than the price of another figure to have it packed in. So if the trench viper were a single released figure - I'd probably buy two of them. But as is - skipping it completely. Maybe if there's someone out there that wants to army build the bunker pieces but doesn't need all of the soldiers - maybe I can pick some up that way.

Seeing clear pictures of nemesis enforcer has me wanting to finish my pythona, he seems a little on the short side to me. Loving pretty much everything they're showing at this point. I love that the body options keep growing as well.
I want to point out that I love how we all pretty much have our own personal joe universe in our minds. Watching the DIC episodes I realized why i thought alley viper was his own character, he had way too many lines to be a army builder

It both is and isn't. They have done a bunch of Cobra Army builder figure/vehicle sets so far as Pulse exclusives. Tele-Viper/Flight Pod, Ferret Scout/Ferret and now Trench Viper/Cobra Perimeter. Then the repaints (PP/TF) get released at retail. Well exclusive retail in the US.
So it is odd that army builder sets don't get full retail releases, but it also kind of isn't considering the price and that even as retail exclusives they tend to get clearanced out eventually. So they might be hedging their bets at the beginning knowing they may not sell as well as hoped, thus avoiding clearance, and the repaint gets to retail with less concern about clearance pricing.
That's my "out of my ass" theory anyway.... 😆
