It's a grenade launcher designed by Rube Goldberg.

I was just going to say that I'd be shocked if Blowtorch didn't have a removable helmet, but just remembered Barbecue didn't. That's a bummer. I hope this isn't a trend. They've been pretty good about not making most of the Joes' head gear removable, at least partially.

I am still disappointed that Barbeque has no unmasked head, and still ISO one appropriate. Looks like I’ll be in the same boat for Blowtorch.

I saw a post on Instagram by one of the designers saying the helmet and mask for Blowtorch are removable.

Lots of nemesis enforcer pics on hisstank

https://news.hisstank.com/2024/10/27/hasbro-1027-stream-event-recap-nemesis-immortal-89456

Is it just me, or is he a modified Road Pig?  This isn't up my alley but he still looks like a neat fig.

I passed on the last flint cause I just did not like it. So I'm hoping this one turns out better. And I really wanna see what they do with retro Cover Girl. I hope she looks a bit different then the old one so maybe I can justify getting her and have them both in the display.

Nemesis Enforcer... I'm of two minds about. I figured out how to work him into shelf canon without having CC coming from Cobra La, so I'm reconciling NE with my comic-ish view of the line. He's also big and bizarre looking, which is good and bad, heh. But I'll probably get him, then hope for Pythona.

@vicious7171 I'm liking the looks of Nemesis Enforcer (I know, I know....Immortal).   Not too keen on the alternate "Klingon" style head, but the more traditional look is great.   I really like those swords of his, although I find his colour a bit dark on the purple.

I'm sure he has some of the same parts as Road Pig, but I think it might only be a couple parts.

I love how they planned the back attachments as separate creatures. The bio-armor and weapons plays well into the creepiness of Cobra La. I like how Lenny said the place should make your skin crawl. I like the swords but I’m removing the sheaths they break up the organic. May devise a gooey clip or something.

The shadowy character in the pics. I’m warming up to an idea it being a Classified Budo who will have some ceremonial armor from Shangri-La who are ancient antagonists to Cobra La.

More creepy characters from Cobra La please. Oh you know Pythona, Golobulus, and guard are on the radar.  An interesting foe for those sci-fi fans. It could play into the mutated Cobra Viper toys. Cobra La experimenting on Coco/Serpentor’s troops. All sorts of story options.

Thwipp!

Yup, Nemesis is right up my alley. I actually *like* that his wings are so weird and almost like full-on extra arms that happen to end in wings. He’s CREEPY and feels very Lovecraftian eldritch abomination, and I’m into that. I want a LOT more freaky monsters, Cobra-La and otherwise, in this line.

Grand, I can pick up Blowtorch and ignore the crap out of everything else because I don't need another CG, I doubt Retro Flint can be hugely different to the existing one, Frag Vipers are the lamest of the bunch, and I will never, ever care about any Cobra La guys. Ever.

Hasbro, my wallet thanks you.

@nilocomic Thanks for the info - glad they're making the helmet removable.

I missed the stream were they saying the back attachments to Nemesis are like, symbiotic bioweapons? I know it's not classic Joes stuff but that is right in my body horror / eldritch horror wheelhouse. I really like that concept.

Of course I'm on the road tomorrow so I'll be attempting to preorder from my phone. Argh. The Pulse app is hit or miss with functionality.

Nemesis enfor.. whatever at this point.. was SO ..COOL in the cartoon.  The vintage figure was a little bit of a let down compared to him, but this figure... barely resembles the vintage figure or the epic representation of the cartoon.  Between this and Road Pig, I am not very impressed by their own interpretations.  Not only do they not look like the characters they are supposed to be, I don't find them aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.  The bat wings don't look cool or functional (of course wings are never functional) He just looks like a monster from a c grade horror movie, not an epic super hero demon enforcer for the leader of cobra la.  The vibe I get from this design is closer to the DNA monster that Sgt SLaughter had to fight, not the majestic flying silent badass you never wanted to face.  He seems squat and short instead of tall and regal.

Cover Girl is my all-time favorite Joe, so I'm willing to see what they come up with for a second release.

To be honest, I prefer my CG with the short, auburn hair like she had in my old action figure, but if a new release gives me a chance for a slightly better face sculpt, I'm open to it.

Based on the picture they used, though, my guess is she'll be another MASS Device figure in animation colors, so I'm not optimistic it'll be a version for me.
