Ran by my target close to work on my break this morning and they restocked a few Tiger Paws. Was able to grab one with the 25% a single toy on Target Circle app. 

This weekend Hasbro is at it again with the 1027 Hasbro Pulse Premium Fanstream on Sunday, October 27th, 2024 at 12:00 PM ET

But also the MCM London convention (Oct 25-27) where they'll apparently be showing off some new products for their various action figure brands (times listed are London time):

-Star Wars 11.30am Saturday 26th October
-Marvel 1pm Saturday 26th October
-Transformers 2pm Saturday 26th October
-G.I. JOE 3pm Saturday 26th October

The three new retro carded figures are up for preorder on all the usual sites.

Had no idea they were going up. But got my order in for pulse. While I like the classifieds Rock n Roll, the retro one will be my main look for him. Another O13 more classic look done and out of the way. 

Grabbed retro Rock n' Roll from Classified.    By far my preferred look for R&R.   Temped to grab a couple more as that just looks so sort of classic flocked hair G.I. Joe to me.   the green fatigues and fuzzy beard.   I like it man.

I love the current R&R we have, and probably will keep it in my display. I still POed the retro card though. I ordered all three. I will repackage the exclusive Mindbender, and use this one in my display. Viper will stay on the card.

Yeah... I have enough Vipers,  it's not my favorite look.   And one Mindbender is enough I think.  So it was only R&R this time for me.    Feels weird silencing that completist voice in my brain, but also kind of good.

Both R&R figures are nice.  I prefer the tattooed arms but the green outfit.  Hopefully the eyes are better on this one, they're kind of too cartoon-y on the last version.  Sunglasses are a must for me.  To the point where I forgot he didn't come with sunglasses!  I feel like it really completes the look.  Mine are from some WWE figure IIRC.  I'll get this guy on sale if possible just as a generic green shirt with a head swap.

Mindbender...oops, Mindbender is maybe better than the expensive version!  Logo on the coat is subjectively better, the silver loops on his boots are also subjectively better...are there any other changes?  I might buy another as a backup or to make a custom or *something*.  Maybe joint-check mine and decide if I need another.

Viper is tempting but he also looks so cheap.  That unpainted backpack is icing on the cake.  I'll wait for reviews.  EDIT:  No pistol holster suuucks.  maybe he's got a secret back holster?  doubt it.

I need another go at Mindbender with hopefully better hip joints so he was a definite buy. I really like the tats on modern RnR but like a lot of us I really do want the original 13 in their classic looks and this brings us one baker's dozenth closer. 

Debating on the Viper. I have enough Vipers overall, but I do like to have that one "unique" agent who stands out from the base troops so I may grab one, similar to have I just one classic style Officer. 

I do lean toward the more updated uniform looks like Duke and Rock n Roll's 2-tone shirts, but I have to say the all-green shirt sure helps the ammo belts stand out.

It does. You can see the pistol holster on his back left side in pictures from the event.

I’ve got a de-tatted RnR and a couple CI Vipers already, but the retro versions were instant preorders. 

Debating on Mindbender on if that cape logo is worth a whole $27 for me to replace the one I already have. 

Just got the retro Trooper and I like him a lot more than I was expecting - it's a fresh, strong blue and red but not too bright or garish. I'd originally joked that I was going to treat him like a private / intern but now that I have him in hand I get a different vibe. Maybe it's because he comes with a sniper rifle, but I kinda see him as *that guy.* The one who always says yes when you need someone quietly offed. Maybe he's CC's pet knife man when he doesn't need the level of a Zartan or Storm Shadow. "Just take this guy out back and dispose of him" type soldier. 

Orrr maybe he's an intern. Who knows. 

Only knock on him is his knife sheath and the loop for his silencer are VERY tight, like worried I won't be able to get them back out again. 

That is awesome, I was actually going with a 'that guy' as well!
