Stalker is sharp. That color definitely pops compared to the drab military green of the previous figure. But that's all in terms of differences. Putting the retro together just reminded me of how good a figure the original is.
I mean, the skin tone is also significantly different - at least on mine. The retro figure's skin tone is several shades darker than the original figure. In fact the skin tone difference is significant enough I decided that with some slight modifications to gear pack out and wardrobe I've got them as two different characters in my display - popped a red beret from CI Beachhead on the first release and having him be a stand in for Jammer

I'm not a huge fan of CI Beachhead's legs so maybe I'll swap them later on, but the color match is pretty decent.
They're totally going to remake Doc but with Flint/Viper's or maybe Duke's three-quarter sleeve arms in the retro line. I can't think of any reason why they didn't do it this time other than to make a more-classic version later on.

Action Sniper. Damn this figure is cool. I’m gonna cave and buy another. Right now Lady Jaye body is a current holder of the extra head. I really like all three heads so I’m gonna buy another. The gully suit is ok. Still trying to get it lie in a way I like.

@nilocomic hey I don't know if my other reply disappeared or didn't go through but on Doc, don't swap the waist, heat and pop the legs at the hips, heat and swap the crotch piece, and then heat and pop on the new legs.

Wired material would've helped so much, even if it was only around the hood. Putting the figure in her ghillie among some surrounding environment really ups the fun factor and hides the difficulty of working with softgoods in 1/12 scale. Maybe some fake trees and shrubs are needed for the shelf 🤔

Cool, thanks for the tip. I was thinking it would be hard to change the waist with how hard it is just to get the waist to turn.
Yeah I will use some wire to help with the gilly suit.

I’m probably going to get a couple of more Snipers if they hit a sale somewhere. It really is a fun set.
Man, I’m still waiting on the Action Diver to go on sale. Those things have just held at $30+ for so long. Hoping that since Target got them so late and they’re not moving that I’ll be able to snag a diver and the solder for $25 or less
I’m hoping the soldier and diver hit that 35% off at the next Pulse sale.
