My $24 Gnawgahyde was delivered today. Nothing better than taking advantage of Walmart’s screw ups.
Man - was going over the Classified checklist - and looking at what's upcoming the only thing on the list I'm going to be missing are those Haslba exclusive figures from the Dragonfly. I didn't back the HasLab because I simply don't have room for the copter in my space. I just don't.
But man would I really like to have Wild Bill, Glenda, Ripcord and Crazy Legs in my collection. I get that both Ripcord and Crazy Legs are Night Force versions - so regular versions will be available, but I have a bunch of other Night Force figures already - so it would be nice to have those guys too. And probably another version of Wild Bill will show up - maybe on a retro card eventually. But I'm betting this is the only Glenda that gets out there, I don't feel the same way about the guys coming with the Rattler - they are generic enough that I don't care - or in the case of Baroness I have a couple of versions of her I prefer already. So those don't hurt. And frankly the figures that came with the HISS I wouldn't have missed that much either. But these guys from the Dragonfly - missing those guys is chafing.
If anybody out there ordered multiple 'copters and doesn't have a need for the extra set of figures and would like to off-load them as a set, give me shout 😆 Sigh...
The HasLab decos for Wild Bill & Wild Weasel are the ones I would want. Any "retro" coloration are going to be lesser/worse to me. That's what upsets me so much that they've been stuck behind those $300+ paywalls.
I still don't have a Bastion, and if we get one for X-Men 97, he's going to be too cartoony for my display.

Same! I was a little confused when I got an email last night touting the good news that I'd saved on my pre-order and it would "only" be $50 now, but eventually I remembered that I'd ordered other stuff along with it to hit the shipping threshold and they were quoting me the total price even though those items shipped three months ago.
Is the Once a Man CC exclusive going up on Pulse on the 5th for order? I can find things seeming to assume this is the case, but as I'm not as plugged into the Joe community, I can't find anything official?
@mikeysee Hate to break it to you both, but the best Deep Six is the Eco Warriors version that came with the dolphin. He’s one of my top wants now that Night Creeper has released Leatherneck has been revealed.

I'd absolutely love a set of Classified Eco Warriors. Color-change feature optional, but we definitely need those big weapons/backpacks with tubes everywhere. They don't need to shoot water, but give us the tubes so we can pretend. Toxo-Zombie was always my personal favorite of the set.
I completely forgot about the Eco Warriors, and I would absolutely buy a Classified Deep Six with a dolphin in a New York minute. I'm laughing just thinking about all that neon. EW had Flint in his dumbest costume and I'd still buy it. (We really did pretend to care about environment for a hot minute in the late 80s, didn't we?)
I gotta laugh about the conversation about Marauders Barbecue on the previous page because I was reorganizing the figures not on the display shelf this week when Spirit and Low Light showed up and was like -- hang on, Marauders Barbecue is NOT Night Force Barbecue? Like I was completely baffled for a solid ten seconds. He's just been with those guys since I bought him. I personally just really like the colors the Marauders use, I think the blues and greens are really distinctive and weird in a good way, so I'd love more of them, but it also means I didn't realize how well built out the Night Force squad was! Tiger Force too, great crew already. I do need to find a Tiger Paw though, it's bugging the heck out of me that I haven't been able to find it in stock.
Got two Night-Creepers from Amazon. Such a cool figure! The original was one of my favorites back in the day, and this update came out really nice. I love all the gear the figure has—allows you to kit him out with at least two distinct looks. It is so cool that Night-Creeper also comes with his v2 Ninja Force helmet as an alternate head sculpt! I think the v2 helmet looks better in the v1 colors.
I like him way more than I thought I would. I grabbed 3, now I want more.
@unclassified I also think the Night Creeper is great. Creepers were my #2 most wanted troopers after Range Vipers. Glad this one turned out so good, cant wait for version 2. Also maybe they can reuse the v1 head to make Aleph?
There’s another preorder shipping this month but I can’t remember what it is. Oh crud it’s the Stinger. I just remembered. I bought a couple. I’m gonna have to cancel a few things so the Rattler isn’t too big a hit next month. So by the time Rattler is realized a CLAW, FANG, Stingers, along with the HISS, Ferrets, and Trouble Bubbles will be there to support it. Who knows what else could come by then? That’s quite an army. A Thunder Machine may sneak in there too. There may be a Destro Despoiler to join Serpentor’s Air Chariot. Gollobulus’ flying blob could be made by that time too. I’m not sure what small to mid range sized vehicles I really want outside those. I’m sure I’ll consider what comes. Classified sure has expanded pretty fast. SNAKE armor probably will come. Some water vehicles like Moccasin or Moray or something new. I’m wondering if they try new at this time. Lots more to come.

I had the 4-issue "Order of Battle" comics and damn near had them memorized. All the great trivia and bits of backstory were like candy to my undiagnosed brain.

All my figures from various lines that had those bio-cards, my dad used to cut them out and put them in a binder. Good times.
