Yeah, those IG action shots help a little but I have to agree with the folks who say the design is too much for a trooper. Probably a good thing that I'm just gonna pick one up with Alpine — who's head wear looks to be doing ok in the shots. Fingers crossed.

And FINALLY a classic Cobra Commander. I dig the changes they made to go along with the cartoon. The gloves could go either way for me, but I did always like the white stripe and white belt. 

lol at the team talking about us keeping the retro cards for the card files on the back...as if they're not just two sentences in a bunch of other languages.  RIP the days of getting a FULL file card and not just the absolute minimum information on a character.  File cards twice the size with 1/8th the information.

This looks like the wave where I say to myself, "maybe you don't need to preorder or buy every figure.". Probably going with Alpine at BBTS and throw the obligatory preorders for the rest at Amazon.

So,  not to be the grammar police or super pedantic,  just honestly really curious if this is the word you meant to use in this context... 

Deletant =  a mutant caused by the deletion of a gene or gene sequence

or if you got auto corrected to that trying to go for  dilettante  (someone interested in something, without commitment or knowledge; a dabbler)

Because if it's the former, it's actually kind of a fun use of a word that I've never seen anyone use outside of my college biology courses

Also like the retro trooper, must have. those friction money figures are superb, liking the wolf guy and red CC.

They should give Emily a raise because she was sorely missed in this stream.  The energy was just off.

Anyway, good stuff but all the leaks did take the wind out of the sails of most of it.  Retro Stalker is cool, I'll grab him on clearance.  I'm trying not to buy all the BAT variants but I actually really dug the IG with the alt BAT head and hands.  That was a very cool look.

I also hope they were teasing a Hydro Viper there at the end with the book, that's probably my biggest want at this point.

And unless I'm mistaken, BMac (???) was wearing a Rattler shirt.  So that seemingly confirms that rumor.  I'm scared of the price but excited to see it and Wild Weasel!

@fletch LOL these guys were playing around so much, so awkward, no idea what they even said for the name-only reveal.  They need Emily to keep them on track tbh.  People hate on Emily but she takes care of business.

Here's my list that nobody asked for:
Must-have:  BAT, CC, SAW Viper

Might-Buy:  Lowlight/Spirit, Sarge, IG, Storm Shadow, Stinger

Probably Pass:  Alpine, Dialtone, Stalker, Trooper

As for the live stream reveals -

Love Alpine and stoked to get him.    Iron Grenadier's aren't my favorite and the execution is - eh.   I'll pick up one of each, but won't army build.    I'm not sure I can take that Storm Shadow seriously.   It's pretty ridiculous.

Retro Stalker is my absolute jam.    I have bought multiple of the regular Stalker since he hit clearance, just because he's a favorite of mine, but the retro will be super welcome.

Obviously more basic Cobra Troopers are always welcome

Finally the Cobra Commander I've wanted all along.   Super happy.   Probably pick up a second one - maybe I can use one of the extra hooded heads from the FFM Crimson Moon guy and repaint it to work.

The Marauders two pack and Slaughter have been known for awhile, but I like them and can't wait to order them.    

I don't need that Stinger, right... I don't... I don't - but the driver looks great and ... sigh

Dial Tone - gotta love the flashy outfit.   Always had a soft spot for the comms guy since back in the little green army men days -   hung out at the back, relaying positions and getting orders from command.    Definitely smarter than the mine sweeper guy (poor schmuck).     

Saw Viper is crazy awesome looking and obviously a must have.

Footloose as a name only reveal is also fine - nice basic infantry soldier.    

For me the biggest question is whether or not to get Iron Grenadiers and the associated BATs. They come from a time well after I was no longer collecting or even paying attention to GI Joe as a kid, so I had planned on taking a pass on them when they showed up in the line, but I'll be damned if I don't really, really like those figures. I think I'll probably lock in some preorders and then mull over whether I want to cancel them or not. 

Amazon trying to give me a heart attack.   They put the pre-orders up,  I get my orders in for Alpine and IG but the BAT shows as Currently Unavailable.    I was like "how did it sell out that fast?"

But, they got the listing up without having the sale go live.   Had to circle back and place the order separately.   All of them safely pre-ordered with an anticipated delivery date of December 4  (YEAH RIGHT!) - which should mean they'll be here by, what, the end of July?

I dislike the Storm Shadow a bit less with the presentation, but he does feel a bit off, like he's from another line. 

Stalker is the big reveal of the program today for me. We needed him in his retro look! He's a preorder. 

I loved the IGs as a kid but I'm going to hope that we get a retro version that is less buys and this guy can be an officer. Like, it's an interesting design as a villainous officer, he's got a Nazi of Wall Street kind of vibe going on there, but I prefer the old, simpler version. 

I think my favorite part of today was seeing people online realizing for the first time that Alpine's real name is Albert Pine. It's never not funny to me. I laugh every time I see it. I know it's dumb. It's a dumb joke. I don't care. Albert Pine for life. 

Were there any images of the Stinger that showed it's Series Number?      From the list I keep I still have gaps at 120, 128, 130, 135 and 136.

I assume one of those numbers will be the Mad Marauders 2-pack -  probably either 128 or 130 since those are adjacent to the Sgt. Slaughter who is 129.
