@boy_wonder The annoying thing about those (in addition to the Baron's helmet coming with the raggedy ass battle damaged werewolf) is that I want them all but will need to pick up a third trooper for Red Vulture, bah.

The Retro Trooper is really neat. It's kind of what I've wanted for a long time; a Trooper with an unrestrictive vest, without the old-school weapon loadout of the Officer. But at this point, I'm pretty loaded on Troopers. I wonder if he will be more green-blue to match the CI ones, or red-blue to match the standard ones. Cool weapon loadout, love the silenced pistol, but it's kind of weird he doesn't have a "standard" rifle of sorts. Not a huge fan of the big grey knife on his webgear that looks unusable.
As for the Stinger, I don't have much to say. Looks like what we all expected. Digging the driver in particular.

@revox These do indeed look awesome and I plan to order a set but as someone that is not well versed in Action Force / Red Shadows lore, what makes the Red Vulture different than the Red Shadow?
Count Ironmoon is Baron Ironblood (but his accurate head and helmet come with other figures)
Major Noir is Black Major (seems to need a blonde head to be accurate though)
Wolfsbane is Red Jackal
Crimson Moon Trooper is Red Shadow Trooper
Is Crimson Moon Exterminator supposed to be Red Vulture?

Stinger looks awesome. Really happy with it. Like how they changed up a few things on it like the battering ram and the hood piece. Looks like its going to come with blast effects for the rockets. Which I thrilled about. That was actually my only critique with the HISS no proper blast effects. The Driver is better then expected. I thought they going to add the blue and white paint apps like the ferret driver which I didn't really like. I might even paint mine when it comes in.
The Trooper I'm fine with. on some of the other forums guys are loosing their minds over him. I don't think that's a grey knife on his web gear just the paint apps. its the same web gear as Stalker. That being said I would preferred if they used the same buck and web gear as the stinger driver which is from the officer. But really the only reason I might not pick him up is the shade of blue. I know its not a official image but the blue looks more lighter and more saturated. If its not matching the other troopers I have it might be a deal breaker.
the New in hand picks of MM sarge and the Lowlight/Spirit two pack look good. Sarge in particular the duffle bag is a really nice touch. Looks like who posted the pics also got Doc and Torch at the same time. I'm wondering if Sarge and the two pack will go up for sale with no preorder.
@canprime Yeah that not even everything. I didn't included the Whipsnakes two pack or Star duster. I've been trying to keep my army building to 3 of a new trooper builder and 2 if its a repaint. it works out to about 6 - 7 figures with each wave. Which really if I was still buying all the figures in a wave of legends works out to be the same thing. Iron Grenadiers I might ended up buying more depending on how they turn out. I have a feeling they are going to be top army builder of the year for me. I'm hoping they mix of blacks so the clothing sections are a flat black while the armor pieces are a shiny black kind of like how they did crossbones a few years ago and his boots where a really shiny black compared to the rest of the figure
I think MM Sarge has to have one of the coolest accessories for Classified thus far. It wasn’t top of mind to me but a soft goods duffle bag is pretty sweet and fits so well. He’s got his bag, his iddy bitty bag.
Stinger looks good and there’s more to reveal than the cover of the box. I’m looking forward to it. I do hope there is a crazy riding platform and bar on back. It’s silly as the missiles fire off and toast those riders. I just love rider options on Joe stuff. I have an Etsy riding bumper already. I’m going to splurge for two Stingers like the Two VAMPs I got.
I’m going to have a blast one day laying out a giant battle scene in the garage. Man I can’t sit to see that Dragonfly! The stand may be hard to mask out in a photo but will elevate it enough to get it flying high enough to fight Cobra ground forces.

Slaughter's Mad Marauders aren't for me. (They are still able to use the name Sgt. Slaughter for the figure, why not the team name?)
Personally I think "retro" Cobra is a bit lazy. Putting retro style web gear over a CI Cobra Trooper makes him "quazi retro". That one's a pass for me.
The MM Sarge and his cloth duffle bag looks incredible. I don't know if I'll get the other characters in their MM's attires, but I will definitely want Sarge.
Apparently, there is a packing variant for Sarge. There is MM Sarge that comes with his hat and glasses on in the packaging, which is the approved, common version. But then there is the version of MM's Sarge where he is packed in the package without his hat and glasses on. Which is the much less common version.
I guess Sgt. Slaughter didn't approve the version with the hat and glasses off, as he wanted the figure to have them on. But some without the hat and glasses still get produced and shipped out.
Has anything been announced about when and where to get the Stinger? I don't want to miss out. I assume it's another Pulse exclusive, but I don't closely follow what's going on with this line.
I’m liking that MM Sarge a lot more than I thought I would as well as the other Marauder repaints. Feeling much better about buying them now.
Hope that Pulse sale will bring down the Steel Brigade and Valkryie two packs a little. I could use 2 more of each set.
Weird quirk of mine - I've never really loved Sarge's inclusion in GI Joe, but I LOVE the Marauders alternate paint scheme. Might skip Sarge himself but Spirit and Low-Light are an auto-buy for me (doesn't hurt they're two of my favorite characters and I loved Spirit's repaint as a kid). Question - the leaked image has another name for Spirit's fine feathered friend? Am I blanking that he had a second eagle other than Freedom for his alternate uniform, or did they change Freedom's name? Wouldn't bother me at all if they renamed him (especially if they named his eagle the Navajo word for Wind, that'd be really rad actually, I dig Niyol as a name). Just blanking on if this is a new thing or an old thing.
I have so many troopers. Too many troopers. I need no more troopers. But one more trooper with unrestricted chest ROM, yeah, they'll get me with one more. I can't army build anymore though, I'm cut off.
Random question: are folks opening their HISS tank Commander? I'm reorganizing the collection a bit and I'm so, so, soooo resistant to MOC collecting that I'm so tempted to open him, but wondering if that's just wasteful for the value. I mean I opened up everything else with the tank. And I'm only re-selling stuff if I'm in dire financial need or dead, TBF.
Another random question. If you, say, FOUND a spare #013 Baroness with motorcycle in the box, how would you use her for customization? I forgot I'd picked up an extra one back in the day because she was so hard to find and I bumbled across a second one since I was paranoid about wonky Joe hips and elbows, but the first one I opened was perfect. I'm half-tempted to just pop the helmeted head on her and call it a day but I gotta get rid of the box, it's taking up a ton of space, and she's going to for less than retail on eBay, so I figure I should do something fun with her instead. Part of me wants to just use her head on the Crimson version cos I can't get her hair to stay on and I'm annoyed.

Crazy thinking back to how much chaos and hard feelings came from those Cobra Island exclusives, Baroness in particular. Are ANY of them still sought after now?
Major Blood and the CI Trooper are still up there. The goggles on the CI Trooper are just too cool, and we need a new Major Blood. Beachhead is up there but will likely come down soon. Baroness, Barbecue, and Roadblock are around msrp lol. At least current MSRP. Firefly and Viper are somewhere in-between. Breaker is all-over the place, probably because so many scooped them up on clearance.
