Anyone else interested to see what is going on with the Joe team?
The post for the next live stream had an interesting tidbit that fans have jumped on, as usual, with all sorts of speculation. So why should we miss out on all the fun? 😊
In case you were wondering the blurb with the announcement of the next live stream had this:
"Join Lenny, Tony and a new Cobra recruit you may just recognize"
That of course has lead to speculation that Emily is out and someone new is taking over the marketing for the Joe team. Nothing, outside of Emily not being mentioned by name, indicates anything of the sort. Heck the new Cobra recruit could be a bit of playfulness and Emily will show up in some sort of Cobra get up.

IT IS THE END AND EMILY IS GONE!!!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!
Or maybe she got a promotion which considering how many brands she seemed to be juggling lately wouldn't be surprising. Hopefully it is nothing, but I guess we'll know in a couple days.
Emily is still on the brand. She's just busy with SDCC stuff with how many brands she's on.
@canprime Emily might have personal obligations or other things going on who knows. I'm guessing it will be their boss John filling in. As for the preorders this is what its looking for me.

Its a big list but it also just about all the remaining product for the year. I'm guessing at SDCC we will see the digital renders for Leatherneck, Dial tone, Zandar and the Saw Viper. with preorders going up at Pulsecon. They are suppose to be for 2025 but I wouldn't be surprised if we see them before the year ends
I’m probably going to redistribute most of the marine sniper set weapons and gear to Shooter and Lowlight.
When I was secretly hoping one of the two 60th figures was a female I had no knowledge of the leaks. I didn’t know about Halo and Sniper yet. I am pleasantly surprised. I can help but draw comparisons to Jodi Shooter. Maybe this one will have boots. I’d like to see the big brim hat or classic marine cover. Hopefully it has more than one head sculpt. I’d like a balaclava look. Hopefully they give her sufficient range of motion in neck to allow for horizontal looking down the scope posing. I’m not sure if they will do a gilly suit as it’s done by Valaverse. I do see some sort of green camo soft goods. Probably reuse of Low Lights gear. I’m pretty stoked to see what they come up with. I have Killswitch and Shooter poses together in my collection. Now will come a third.

All I hope for the female is that she has better torso articulation than the recent Cobra Trooper females. If she's more like Retro Scarlett, I'll be happy.

I don’t know Heartwrencher. I’m looking at the Joe Club Dreadnock VAMP repaint and her character. The look is good. Curious if they will give her the belly tattoo. Is she a mechanic for the team? Is she related to Monkeywrech with her name being Heartwrencher? Does she have some distinct personality? Looks like she needs a big ole wrench to knock some heads with. It’s an interesting two pack with Falcon. Do they interact in the comics?
She’s curious. I was under the impression the Noks were a boys club and Zarana was just brought in as a sister and she had more skill set than most of the Noks. Getting a Classified of her will be interesting as she’s an unknown to me.

There’s no reason an anarchist biker gang can’t have female members. I’m not super familiar with the Heartwrencher character but I hope her Classified figure ends up being more than just a Zarana repaint. For female Dreadnoks, I hope they make Zanya down the road, as I find her look to be pretty cool.
You’re right Ashtalon but it just struck me as a boys club. The only info I can find about Heartwrencher is she’s abused by Zartan (he knocks her off a bed and she’s seen with a black eye) and ends up dating Monkeywrench. It’s limited. Her look is similar to Zarana and Zandar. She’s got those shoulder armor pieces they have, cut up shirt like Zarana. I didn’t see any signature modified weapon. A crossbow of some sort and a big wrench.

I wonder, considering the Falcon backlash, if there will be any changes to the NF figure besides paint scheme. Forcing us to pay $25 for him in order to get a cool chick Dreadknok is a foul play lol

Huh. Heartwrencher wasn't a character I was familiar with at all. No matter what iteration or series she's from, always good to get some variety in this line with more women - it's sort of always been inherently a boy's club so expanding the roster is welcome. (I was only minimally aware of Helix and didn't know Shooter at all, but they were auto-buys anyway just to vary the team.)
Zanya would be cool too. Hope she's somewhere on the schedule.

What about the Stinger surprises you? I do wish it had the grab bar(?) thing on the back like the previous versions, but otherwise it looks pretty close to what the traditional Stinger looks like. Also I do hope those vented side windows can be removed to more closely resemble the original look.
The Retro Trooper looks really good. I like that they added the web gear straps and took away the vest. That gives it a much more retro feel/look. I also like the lightened blue on the uniform. That isn't the AK rifle though is it? I'm not much of a military/weapons guy so I don't know for certain.
Either way I like the looks of both of these leaks.
@snake-eyes-8181 Yeah that is a long list of items to come for the rest of the year. It's those army builders that are going to hurt the most for a lot of collectors.
Personally I am probably only going to get multiples of the Iron Grenadier. I have stuck to just a single BAT since the first release (which I did buy multiples of). I love the BAT but I am good with just one of each variant going forward.
The Stinger is probably the one item I might buy two of this time around. I only got one VAMP and kind of wish I got a second one, but that would have been for value only rather than enjoyment. The Stinger though is one I might get two of and have them flank the HISS. However I might also then cave on a second HMS. Ugh this is getting expensive already....
Speaking of, I wonder if the HMS will sell out once the Stinger is officially unveiled/released as collectors get a second one to put with it?
Talk about good problems to have. Well not financially.
Am I the only one who would be a little disappointed if we get a retro Cobra Commander and it ISN’T just the Haslab with a normal Cobra logo? I’ve been close to dropping the $100 on the Haslab version since I just want a classic looking Commander on the shelf. Having to wait even longer for that would be pretty rough.
Not to derail too much, but still Classified adjacent, for anyone not following the Fresh Monkey Fiction thread and who are fans of the 80’s UK Action Force line, they showed off their 6” Red Shadows homage line yesterday. They’ll be up for preorder tomorrow on BBTS. Can’t wait to get these and have them with the Roboskull on my Classified shelf.
