That’s true. But there’s also the possibility that some may not be available for the next sale either. Hasbro did say they were cutting back on production numbers so those big discounts at Ollie’s and Ross may not be as much this year. It’s a gamble to wait but to each their own. 

I happily picked up an extra Recondo at 17.50, and reluctantly caved on Metal Head fo $25. It feels like the entire toy aisle is on sale, with WWE, TMNT, TFs, MLs all ringing up about 30% off.

So how are we liking the odds of the new retro wave actually shipping from Amazon today to be in-hand tomorrow? 

I decided to significantly trim down my Classified collection due to space constraints and having no real connection to the brand.

I think I am down to 65-70 figures with around 20 of those in storage.

One thing I did notice while going through all the figures, I actually prefer the earlier "modern" releases compared to the more recent retro releases.

I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion, but the original releases of Duke & Scarlet have so much more personality and shelf presence than the retro carded releases. Duke especially looks so bland and flat standing next to other figures in the line. So much so, I decided to keep the original and donate the carded one I just grabbed not even a month ago.

I still plan to dabble in the line...I am looking forward to Jinx & Gnawgahyde.

Overall I am happy to have a more focused collection with the figures I find visually exciting.

@boy_wonder I'm giving it a 50/50 right now. Mine is still saying tomorrow by 10 but I also noticed they are temporally out of stock on Amazon now. I only ordered Beach Head but he is also one of my biggest wants out of the next wave of figures. So fingers crossed

My cc hasn’t been charged but they are supposed to ship from Amazon tomorrow. Usually my cc gets charged 2-3 days in advanced of the actual ship date. 

I just had to approve delays for both the Retro Snow Serpent and Eel from Amazon.

No new delivery date.

My Snow Serpent still says arriving tomorrow at 10 pm -  so I'll be expecting that delay approval message in an hour or two  😉

Via hisstank: a small retailer reports that the Cobra Stinger, that leaked Sgt. Slaughter, Anniversary Marine Sniper and Pilot HALO-jumper, some kind of Cobra Trooper, and Cobra Commander WITH HIS HOOD are all coming soon!! Like preorder next month soon!!

Happy news or just gonna stir up the bile again, hooded look for Commander. I’m happy with my 3rd party head I have. 

Can’t wait to see Alpine and Iron Grenadier. Looking forward to Dragonfly unboxing vid. Everything else is gravy.

Been hearing it’s battle armor v3 Coco rather than hooded. Hooded would be an easy figure using the Hisstank classic body though so it’s not something I’d put past them. I’d actually prefer the hooded Commander right now.
