Really bummed to have Jinx moved back but honestly, early preorders have been CLOBBERING me lately so I really should be hoping for delays.
I think I'm looking forward to Doc the most though. A low-key GOAT for the Joes, really.
Yeah I am not really too upset about any delay at the moment because it seems like every week I am getting hit up for some new product. Or a sale comes along and I am too weak to say no, like Pulse just recently dropping the price of some outlet stuff I have been eyeing for a couple weeks.
Definitely a funny situation when thinking back to the end of 2023 where it seemed like we were getting a new wave of product every week. Speaking of, I know Yo Joe June is right around the corner, but does anyone else feel like the Joe team has been a bit more quiet this year. Especially compared to some of the other brand teams?
Either way it won't really matter in a couple more days because we'll be getting weekly updates for the whole month. I do hope it isn't just one big reveal and then weeks of a single reveal, or non-toy reveals.
@vicious7171 that’s exactly what I use for Bludd’s backpack. I don’t love it. I’d prefer they actually make functionally tight slots for those missiles, but that’s a decent bandaid to help me not lose the missiles.
Like everyone else - given that I got slammed with early arrivals of two waves of Marvel Legends simultaneously I am not heart broken that the Classifed figures got pushed back a a little. And I will agree that of this next wave of figures Doc is the one I am looking forward to the most. Love the character and love having the non-combatant support guy to help the team
Just a note to the pushed back dates. I know you guys in the US had the end of May as the date for release of the wave, but Amazon Canada has always had an early to mid July date and still does.
So maybe it is just an adjustment based on the more up to date info that fits with some of the other retailers?
Not sure who is my more anticipated figure from this wave. Doc or Torch.
Torch is the last needed Dreadnok to finish the original three plus Zartan. Also you can't go wrong with a blowtorch that has a skull head that allows for the flame to exhaust through the eye sockets.
However Doc is Doc and they really did a great job with him and his load out. So much goodness with that figure.
Actually I think July was the original date even for the US but at some point Amazon bumped them up to end of May. Except for Torch who still had his original July expected date. At least that’s how it was for me. Now they bumped all of them to August.
But yeah, I’m also glad they moved them back to allow more breathing room and more time to get the budget back in order.
Doc is probably my biggest want followed by Beach head and Torch. I'm skipping on the retro snow serpent and Eel. I have the releases from last year
Yeah. The Retro Eel is a skip for me for sure. I accidentally ordered too many of the original Eel figure so I ended up with more of those than I wanted and the reality is that I don't have a ton of display space or use for characters with an underwater motif. I do like the smaller load out and simpler package of the retro Snow Serpent. The previous deluxe was too expensive to army build, so this one I can buy a handful.
Been forever since I've been here.
Did we ever find out why the deluxe Snow Serpents were such a low quantity?

I'm pretty much all in on the Classified line, but I missed out on the numbered box Eel last year so the Retro is my only (reasonable) option for now. Hopefully once the Retro release is out the secondary market will drop on the Amazon exclusive version.
Having the first Beach head I'm not super fussed about the Retro one, but it is a more classic look so I had to grab one.
@panthercult I honestly wouldn't mind helping you unload one or two if you really need to...
I kind of wish Hasbro would change up the backpack peg so it's a plus shape rather than a round peg. That way it can stay plugged in and not tilt. The tilting is what annoys me the most. It's not too late to change I guess, but we're pretty deep into the line so it might not be possible

The loadout is actually why I'm skipping it. I'm not a fan of the Dusty gear. I wasn't even a fan of it when it came with Dusty. It doesn't need to be 100% his retro gear for me but they should have gave him the AK from the officer
Snow Serpents are notoriously shy. They don’t come out in public very much, and Cobra insurance (get it?) doesn’t cover psychiatric visits.
Just opened my Crimson Strike Team. Great set. I'm curious if anybody did anything "interesting" with the box. It's far too nice to recycle. Do you use it for storage or in some other capacity? Obviously makes a great backdrop for pics of Cobra. Only thing I don't like is that goofy pic on the screen. For now I folded one end of the insert that props up the false contents so that the gold bars look like they're stacked vertically on an angle.
