Can one of these 60th anniversary figures be a woman and still keep the spirit of the anniversary? Initially I was really hoping the diver was going to be a lady. I mean we are getting Glenda as pilot for the Dragonfly. So would it be well received if the 60th pilot was also a woman? Can the 60th Marine be a woman and the Classified fans heads wouldn’t explode?

I am starting to think the rumored trooper builder two pack will be Crimson color repaints of the Valkyrie set. Would that also drive the Classified fans crazy?

I am so glad we are back. To those who made it possible, thank you so much.

We've got so much Joe product coming soon, we had to have the Fwoosh up and running to discuss it.  We've got the next Retro Wave, Deluxe Gnawgahyde, and the Doc and Jinx Wave.

I know they will end up doing a Retro Jinx like the old toy with red sleeves and all, and that's my preferred look.  But I decided I will still get this upcoming version so I can display her without the mask with the blindfold on.

I am getting pumped for Yo Joe June and the reveal of the Haslab.  Hopefully we'll see some leaks (again) soon.

Also is anyone else following the drama around the Youtube (GI Joe) community lately?  It really is funny to see how quickly things can devolve.  What's worse is some of the people involved admit they don't even collect Classified (or buy one or two figures).

In case you are wondering I won't go into big details here, but it involves a couple of channels.  Viper Island is the main culprit in this drama.   Basically that channel has been doing shady stuff to other channels and is getting called out by those channels.

So glad The Fwoosh is back.

Looked like one of my WM was possibly taking Joe off their planogram.  No Joes on the main shelves anywhere and I didn't see a peg for them, and found the latest wave in the clearance aisle (QK, Techno Viper, etc).  

Ohhhhhh my goodness is it good to be back.  I was really hoping Fwoosh would be back up and running before the next big reveal/drop and thankfully I don't think anything came out in the gap in any of the lines I collect.

I picked up retro Duke, Scarlett, and Recondo on ebay for "cheap" last week, they should be here next week.  I missed out on a Boa/Airborne/Quick Kick/TechnoViper listing that would have seen them each for less than $20 apiece.  Bummed because with those four I could have knocked a total of 7 off of my "catch-up" list this week.

@jonaskane Up here (Canada) Walmart was pretty good at stocking Classified up to the latest wave.  However Big Boa et al never made it to shelves here (that I saw posted anywhere or in store myself), but were readily available on the Walmart site.

Now they have been clearancing out the remaining figures and most of the stores local to me have nothing left, or the dregs of what hasn't sold for clearance.  $25 is not clearance Walmart Canada, even though you charge $36Cdn regular price.

Otherwise nothing to see on shelves here and nothing appears to be on the planogram either.   However that wouldn't surprise me since they did that with MOTU and more recently ML.  So Classified was probably due.  Somehow though SW keeps on trucking.

Thankfully though Classified is still fairly easy to pick up online through multiple retailers.

They were $15 in the clearance aisle here.  I already had them all but picked up the Viper just because.

So glad the forums are back up. The number of times I found myself thinking "oh I gotta go see what folks are saying about X figure..." Surprisingly quiet couple of weeks for Joes, but I did get the HISS HMS and they just do these smaller vehicles and accessories so well. Bonus points for the HISS Techo-Viper not having clunky hips like the main one did for me. I gotta create a space to just put the whole HISS crew on display some time soon. 

During the downtime, Python Patrol Copperhead and Vypra went on clearance at my Target for like $7.50. I even found a General Hawk that must have been stashed away somewhere and put back in the shelf for the same price.

Man...  for $7.50 I would have bought all the PP Copperhead's and just swapped extra Python Patrol heads onto them to be army builders.     Might have picked up an extra Vypra too so I could display her masked and unmasked.    

Check your Targets carefully for the clearance PP. A couple of mine had apparently moved them to a separate clearance aisle/space. I actually thought I had missed the sale since they were previously on the pegs a couple of days earlier. Stopped by a few days later and found their new locations. My local Target had like 15 Vypras that didn’t move. One day they were all gone after I heard about the sale. Even at that price, I didn’t think she would move that fast. A few days later, there she was in a new location and about 10 left. 

I grabbed an extra Python Patrol Copperhead and removed all his gear and put one of the yellow cyber helmets from the PP Televiper figures. He looks like a cool larger Python Patrol trooper. I gave him a rifle from the Viper three pack.

I’m hoping Target continues the Python Patrol in addition to the Tiger Force. They could do a repaint of the Valkyrie to do a Python Patrol Valkyrie. Maybe it could be called an Asp. Maybe they wouldn’t use that so as to preserve the trademark. Anyway they should do some repaints of the Valkyrie.

@matthew-k I never saw the leg pic, but I imagine we'll see at least the digital render during Yo Joe June so I am okay to wait.

I do think it is funny how much that alternate head looks like a Klingon.  I worry though that the head may look out of place since I imagine that the body is going to closely mimic the original design (warranting the original head).  So I don't know how well that Klingon head will fit with the body.  Colour-wise I imagine it will stay fairly true to the original colours.  The question I have is will they include both sets of "wings" or just the bat wings and no tentacle wings?
