Man, what I went through to get a figure that's common and not many should really want. My target app told me my 3 stores had metal head. So instead of picking the closest I pick the farthest cause I always have luck with that store. Well, none, lol. I ask a lady and she's like oh idk. Blah blah blah. Then I'm like they are probably in the back and I was getting no where. So I said f it my names Doug, and I'm atta heeeeeerre. Then left.
Went to the more northern store instead of the closest to my house, haha cause that store also ain't to bad. Get there and there supposed to be 2, theres none. Now, I'm getting mad, haha.
Go to.my store and there's 3 sitting there. I should've just went there in the first place, lol.
Really cool figure, only thing I do not like is the side pegs for the thigh canons. Oh wait there's 2 things. The pegs I'm afraid of breaking or stressing while putting the Canon on. I should've heated them up. I still will, just haven't yet, and it would probably be best that you guys did as well. That ball is a bitch getting in that socket.
Wait, 3 things. The second being, the rockets do not sit in the barrels of the cannons snug and only can be displayed being deployed. I ain't digging that one bit. That's a let down for me.. we are left with two options. Bag em and display him deploying, and not to be able to just set them in the barrels.
3rd, damn, now I forgot the 3rd. Oh yeah, no where's to put his rifles. I kind of feel he don't even need them to be honest, lol. But, some pegs on the side of backpack would suffice, they'd be out of the way and the figure can hold all his nonsense.
Over all, I really dig this dude. Helmet I'm not feeling, hair piece ain't bad, but I prefer the classic look with the goggles. One of the things I like most is is his cest. I really like how they made the pegs in the back to look totally fine if the back pack ain't plugged on. This is great for customizing. I feel a hand gun and holster would've been nice on the vest somewhere.
Little pricey for this dude. Not really seeing the value difference from the basic figure. Maybe the tooling for the individual parts for the back pack? Actually, this king about it, it's pretty pricey for a figure that thats a reuse of the body.
I’m pretty positive that the only difference on the Eel is the color of the cord on the harpoon.
And the retro backpack i believe.
@unclassified don't mind me, I'm just being impatient. I have her preordered and I placed an order with GameStop a few minutes ago because it looks like she's in stock.
@unclassified I stalked eBay for Flint for a week or so and was able to get one for about $25. it is surprising that he was so readily available for so long and now he's hard to find. I bet there's crates of him sitting in a second-hand chain store somewhere that Target didn't sell.

Anyone else with tempered expectations regarding the Ferret/Driver set, knowing the female Cobra trooper buck has virtually no torso articulation? She's never going to be able to "buckle down" and look like she's speeding around. At best she'll look like she's going for a leisurely drive.
Ferret looks like fun... will grab one but I just don't have the space to army build vehicles.
Will be skipping the retro Eel I think... bought too many of the regular version, not enough room for this one (unless someone wants to trade a retro for a starndard, I could probably do that)
Definitely can't pass up the retro Beachhead though. Always love that dude's look. and the Snow Serpent is nice too. Fun stuff.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't even care about that figure lol. The twins belong on that thing anyway. Another female trooper to me is just silly. Surely Hasbro Pulse will release the VAMP again, right? I had it pre ordered but had to cancel some stuff just because of the massive flood of product from Hasbro and other toy companies and I cancelled it.

You, of course, realize that you can put any driver you want on that vehicle and aren’t limited to that driver figure, just because that’s the one they included with it?

@detectivehoag my problem is I don't WANT the Ferret driver. If I could buy it cheaper without & put a Cobra Trooper on it, maybe I'd bite, but as is, I'm likely to pass on this one.
