@vicious7171 I can't find the pic, but when she first leaked there were pics of the red lip version and a more natural pink lip version.
I remember commenting that I pray the released version was the pink lip because it looked so much better.
Picked up Shadow-Tracker (awesome figure!) And found Scrap-Iron for $29 at my closest Walmart!
I'll be waiting for Scarlett in-hand to judge her headsculpt/paint but based on pictures I've seen, I'm wary. She looks so great in the render but I'm not 100% on the final piece. Maybe repainting the lips will be the fix many of us are looking for; in the render they're very angular and sharp but in all the pictures I've seen so far the release has kind of blobby, rounded lips.
The face is passable, I'm not over the moon about it, but the rest of the figure is so good it gets a pass. There have been a few Hasbro releases (not just GI Joe) where I'm not even sure that it's photoreal anymore, and this is one of them. I'm interested to see if there is a pink lip variant.
I'm sitting here less than an hour before I leave work for Easter break, thinking of the new GI Joe/Street Fighter display I plan to do in my figure room. Not only do they share some 90's history at retail, but they just so happen to be the two best toy lines at retail 30 years later. I feel they deserve to be together.
Hmmm...my ninja shelf is the emptiest, and I already integrated the Adventure Series into my Classified display.....
I got my VAMP the other day and I'm so glad I didn't cancel this thing. I love everything about it and am so glad that it wasn't a HasLab.
With everything that this comes with Hasbro was on crack trying to charge what they were for the Hellcharger.

Yeah the pink lips is an upgrade for sure. It sounds like some customizing will be in order. If I get a Scarlett that looks like this:

Looks like Hasbro's Classified production factories still have occasional problems with face printing. Scarlett's face paint here looks more like a budget line or 1/18th scale in quality. It's such a shame when, as a whole, Hasbro is killing it with face printing. Did they swap out the "good" factory from Classified to MLs or what? Seems like MLs got a glow-up and Classifieds went down a peg over the last year.
My wife thinks wave 1 Duke is good looking. So the next time you see fanboys writing about "attractive" female action figures, know that it's not JUST the guys.
My wife always comments on how good looking or not certain figures are especially if they are on the realistic side. She especially thinks old man Outback is handsome.
To be fair, Old Man Outback IS a silver fox!
Got Recondo and Techno-Viper today. Recondo is zero surprises since we got the Tiger Force version already, but I'm loving his classic duds. Just one of my favorite figures in the line regardless of paint scheme for him, fantastic head sculpt.
Techno-Viper... Okay I like this figure in theory, but I find so many Vipers have bad hips and I can't get this guy to pose very well without some extra work. I do like the kit they send with him though, lots of cool fun stuff in there. Just a really tough figure to pose compared to some of the others we've gotten recently.
Supposed to get Airborne tomorrow. No movement on Duke or Scarlett yet and I'm starting to stare at the shipping details like my dog waiting for cheese. "C'mon, c'monnnnnn, drop it....."
Man... I wasn't prepared for how much I was going to like this Quick Kick. He might be my favorite of this round of figures... and that's saying something. To be fair, I don't have Classified Scarlett yet... but this Quick Kick is keen.
I’m okay with waiting for the retro figures till April. Just as a I settle in with my VAMP, Boa, Techno, Metal Head, Quick Kick and Airborne Pulse ships Recondo.
I bet Duke and Scarlett ship next week. I guess next week is April so right on time.

I opened Big Boa today and he rules! His plastic is just the right amount of stiffness, no wobble, no looseness. I threw on the unmasked head and hand wraps with weights for a few minutes, but went right back to the boxing gloves/helmeted look.
He looks like he's ready to book a ticket to pound town and go buck-wild on the Joes!
Nice stiff plastic on everything, even the weights. Really glad they didn't make them out of some rubbery marbled plastic garbage.
