Yeah I don't think there are going to be too many ARAH figures or vehicles that survive the coming decade. I imagine on the 50th anniversary of the ARAH line there will be even fewer complete/intact vehicles and figures.
Â
@mrboshek the shock oil is silicone based, it should be safe for plastic. It's a shock lubricant for RC cars. The first time I heard about it was after the Fwoosh Articulated Icons ninjas came out with frighteningly right hip joints. Been applying it to anything with too much friction for years with no obvious ill effects.
Open his packaging with care, as the boxing gloves are separate from the wrist piece and those wrist pieces will ROLL VERY FAR AWAY if you're not careful. Just had to chase mine all over the office to find them.Â
Video, or it didn't happen. 😆Â

Big Boa falls outside of the parameters I’ve given myself for this line, but just like Croc Master, he’s so cool, I’m gonna have to pick him up.
Partially (largely) also motivated by pure nostalgia because he’s 98% the same body mold as the old Street Fighter Balrog, which was the second figure line I was ever into after TMNT.Â
And now seeing him in Classified, I hope even more that we’ll someday get a Classified/Street Fighter collabÂ
I mean...
Â
@tenime but he's not talking about accurate Street Fighter figures, he's talking about calling back to the GI Joe Street Fighter lineÂ
Yeah, I’ve got the Jada stuff. I want Balrog that doesn’t look a damn thing like he looked in the game, lol.Â
Balrog who used Big Boa’s parts, Ken who used Storm Shadows, Zangief with Gnawgahyde’s parts, etcÂ
Even originals who were accurate like Dhalsim or Sagat, I’d like to see get redesigned in someway. Which I imagine would be a requirement anyways. Jada has control over the game accurate designs while Hasbro could make Classified military deigns.Â
Grabbed Duke and Recondo at Target today, plus the SEAL. Over $75 with 20 off brought them down nicely.

I'm actually glad there's no video footage because I was cursing myself out at an offensive level because of how mad I was that I'd sent them rolling across the bleedin office. I called myself so many names. (the red of the gloves actually blended in with the wood of the floor, I was apoplectic 🙂 )

Target had the action sailor and soldier. I had not got the soldier yet. Yes I watched loads of reviews. I could see the Stalker torso on Rock n Roll legs with the masked heads. Loads of accessories. Pretty cool.
I dislike the Big Ben weapons. I’ll find rifles from another Joe. I do love the Ma Deuce stand in for Roadblock. I gave his helmet to Desert Snake Eyes. I’m digging the poncho. I like the hood even without the poncho. I’m not sure how I feel about the plates for his vest. The backpack is huge too. Him all geared up is a big load to carry.Â
This is a good fig. It’s better when it cost $29.99 cost with the $5 discount for $30 toy purchase.
Thwipp!
I also spotted Metal Head, and I passed. I don’t think I want him. Maybe if he goes on sale.
the Hasbro deluge has been RELENTLESS this week. Metal Head showed up today and I forgot he was already here until just now, just added him to what I'm calling the PANIC PILE in my office of new figures.Â
Edit: Opened Metal Head. OMG, it's always the most random figures that I find fascinating in this line. He looks like what if Tony Stark rotted his brain on bathtub substances. It's amazing. In fact, I think I might do my first action figure photography in ages to set him up with Tony shaking his head judgmentally behind him.Â
Yeah the shock oil. I just question will it break the plastic down after time. Plastics and polymers are mostly petroleum based. Not sure what's in shock oil, read a minute ago here someone said silicone based. Petroleum based products will definitely change the chemical make up in plastics. Silicone is safer since it don't contain any Petroleum.Â@unclassified The shock oil? I'd rather not add chemicals to the plastic, but then I would have about 75% of Classified figures with stuck hips. I should take the time to sand down the ball joints instead.
Btw, I mentioned in earlier post how the Vamp re-sparked my interest in 3.75 vehicles. The red panel on my STUN shattered in multiple pieces when I tried to reattach.

Do you have the DPCI for the Action Soldier?
A fwoosher hooked me up with the DPCI for the retro carded figures and I walked into Target yesterday and walked out with all I wanted. Might as well see if my luck holds.
The main reason I want the soldier is for the machine gun that will go directly to Roadblock, but he looks like a sweet enough figure on his own. Then I'll have to do some price adjusting to take advantage of that discount.
Â
I think I'm gonna head out towards Trenton and then to PA today and stomp on art g and disavoweds grounds. Piss in the corner and mark my territory. I'll see if any targets have any new Joe's.Â
