hey, it says few of em will be arriving on the 27th. That was super fast for China. And the store is called hasbro something. So I take it that they have direct links to hasbro. A d all the reviews say that they were all quality straight from the factory. So, like promised, I'll be back with my opinion on these and if they are poor, they will go back, if they are legit, I'll keep.em. ended up getting another one. It was lime 26 and then 2 off and if I spent another 250 I got 4 off total cost so threw a 112 boom box in there. Might go back and order another. Lol. I like to build in 10.Just got a eel for 28 and change at aliexpress. They allow you only one. Then got more for 30 a piece. They have codes for 5 20 and 40 off with targets to hit to get them discounts.
My vamp should be here tomorrow.
That's about all the joe news I got.
Just wondering if you could update us when the Eel arrives. On another board I frequent someone bought one as well and the discussion kind of agreed that it was a high quality KO.
The big giveaway was when they opened up the figure the locker box for the accessories said "Ell" instead of "Eel" and the pictures on the box were not as sharp as the Amazon exclusive version.
Also there are reports that the figure has joints that are a bit more loose than the original and the paint apps are not as sharp, especially around the face.
I'm tempted to get one as well, but I kind of want to hear other opinions before making a decision.
Well, Retro Duke, displaying those great leadership skills we all know him for did his thing and arrived first. He was delivered yesterday - while 6 (or 7?) other classified pre-orders are scheduled to arrive today. For a pretty basic looking figure he sure did turn out great. I get what Classified was trying to do when they launched, but let's be honest - this is what we really wanted, right? I love this figure and am just sad that the retro Scarlett seems to still be on a boat somewhere with a fulfillment date still weeks away.
But it was kind of nice to get Duke all by his lonesome so I had some time to appreciate him. Poor Quick Kick, and Big Boa and Airborne and Metal Head and Recondo and Techno Vipers are all going to be fighting for attention with each other as well as with 8 Marvel Legends figures also arriving today.
Amazon decided to not bump up my Duke, but screw them because this morning I was able to waltz into my closest Target, DPCI in hand, and walk out with Duke, Scarlett, and Recondo. Was most just wanting Duke and Scarlett, but having all three in front of me, I folded.
Scarlett was by far my least favorite of all the redesigns they did at the beginning of the line, and even with the fix up I made, a classic version of her was what I was looking forward to the most and they hit a home run.
Similar story with Duke. The repaint was fine. Then I was even more satisfied with my fix up, but this is the definitive Duke for me.
Recondo isn’t my favorite character by any means and I only got the TF version because he was like $7, but happy to add him to the shelf in his classic colors.
Mixed up some accessories a bit to my liking with Duke getting TF Duke’s backpack and Stalker’s machine gun. Then just giving TF RECONDO’S guns, knife, and backpack to the classic version.
@boy_wonder I wish I caught your post before I left work to check the Target down there. My Target at home has them, but they are showing a floor location. They might be with the merch for a reset because the associate's handheld was showing the wrong aisle. She thought they were in the the current Turtle's section.

Nice pics. Can you share that Target DPCI?
Didn’t see any Retro Joes at my Target but did find a couple of Metal Heads. Didn’t pick him up as he’s due to arrive from Pulse this Thursday.
My retros and Airborne keep getting the dates changed on Amazon, except Scarlett, zero movement on her - she's the only one I'm impatient enough I'd make a trip to Target to buy this week though if she happened to be available in-store. I actually had zero complaints about the wave 1 Duke and Scarlett (genuinely loved the face sculpts) except I couldn't find a Scarlett without a stuck hip joint. That being said, I like the retro looks even more, will definitely be displaying them more.
I don't know why I love Recondo so much. There's like a half-dozen Joes have zero reason to have a soft spot for and he's one of 'em. Definitely looking forward to swapping out Tiger Force for his classic look.
Got Quick-Kick and Big Boa from Amazon today. It's funny, I WANT to display Boa in his old classic look with gloves and helmet, but his head sculpt is really great and as an ex-boxer myself I just love the bloody-knuckled hand-wraps and I think I like those better than the gloves. Decisions, decisions...
EDIT: Love the unmasked Boa head but popping the helmet on makes him REALLY fun to mess around with. Also fun fact: Open his packaging with care, as the boxing gloves are separate from the wrist piece and those wrist pieces will ROLL VERY FAR AWAY if you're not careful. Just had to chase mine all over the office to find them.
Quick Kick is superb. Nothing to add beyond that. Just an awesome figure.
I was gonna hit targets and Walmart yesterday but decided not too. Went to ross and ollies though. Found Walmart snake eyes and timber at ross and 11 zaranas at ollies. That was odd.
I created a Retro barcode from the dpci, scanned it at Target to see if it would turn up a result for the TCIN. It seemed to work, but the TCIN gives me nothing in Popfindr, so no sure if this is accurate.
I gave the sockets for Metalhead's leg launchers a dab of shock oil. It's not necessary, but I wanted to allow some movement on the pegs, otherwise they were too tight. I hope all the shock oil I've had to apply to my figures is truly plastic safe.

Popfindr may be having issues again. I tried looking for TF Bombshell and they showed none in 25 miles and lo and behold I found 2 on the self. Immediately checked after I left and they were still showing none. Then again it's such a small inventory that it could have nothing to do with the site.
Big Boa falls outside of the parameters I’ve given myself for this line, but just like Croc Master, he’s so cool, I’m gonna have to pick him up.
Partially (largely) also motivated by pure nostalgia because he’s 98% the same body mold as the old Street Fighter Balrog, which was the second figure line I was ever into after TMNT.
And now seeing him in Classified, I hope even more that we’ll someday get a Classified/Street Fighter collab
I've been questioning that since its first started to be used.I created a Retro barcode from the dpci, scanned it at Target to see if it would turn up a result for the TCIN. It seemed to work, but the TCIN gives me nothing in Popfindr, so no sure if this is accurate.

@unclassified The shock oil? I'd rather not add chemicals to the plastic, but then I would have about 75% of Classified figures with stuck hips. I should take the time to sand down the ball joints instead.
Btw, I mentioned in earlier post how the Vamp re-sparked my interest in 3.75 vehicles. The red panel on my STUN shattered in multiple pieces when I tried to reattach.
(Not my photo)
@mrboshek I remember buying a STUN way back in the 2000s, and even then the red plastic seemed prone to breaking or crumbling.
