Very cool that you got the trouble bubble already, Norm. I have a couple that are supposed to arrive this weekend.

Wow, I didn’t realize more people don’t have the Flight Pod already. I don’t check in on this thread often enough, so I just assumed I was behind. I’ll try to get a pic up over the weekend.

Received my sole Flight Pod today. Genuinely surprised they went with a deeper box, and didn’t instead break it down into smaller pieces to be assembled. Either way, I like the pod enough. Might give it to the tan Valkyrie rather than the Televiper, who came out fine, if not a little generic. Understandably, they hid the exposed skin to be able to use the alternate head. I really like the new head with the full mask/visor.

Snow Job is also now processing.

EDIT: Messing around a bit more. The straps to secure the pilot in are super loose. I tried fitting the Valkyrie in, but the straps were looking so dopey all loose. Then I realized they're meant to be wide enough for figures to wear their backpacks. That got her in snugly, and I love it. A couple things.. Is there a place for the large bomb/mine to fit? I couldn't find one. And it bothers me that the missile mounts needed to be attached to the pod first. Their pegs are looser than the pegs into the missiles, so the mounts just fall off with the missiles. Kinda silly. Maybe I'll glue them in.

I think the deeper box is to accommodate other vehicles at that price. Personally I would prefer it if they came in pieces and it had to be assembled. I enjoy that part its like a model kit. Except for the stickers I prefer the tampos. When I get the Hiss and Dragonfly I won't be putting them on.

I didn't know that the straps accommodate the backpacks. It makes senses. not that I'm putting my Televiper in the bubble. But is seemed weird that he came with the backpack but couldn't display him with it in the bubble. so good to know

No there is no place for the Mine. I might display mine flying around the bubble.

I've heard if you flip the missile mounts so the left is on the right and the right is on the left they fit snug and hold their place

Ha — that goofy bomb/mine thing haunted me as a kid with the original release. I could never figure out where it went or what to do with it.

Also, thanks for that tip on the backpack and the straps.

@grumpymatt didn't the original have a hole that plugged to the peg in the back of the seat?

Dang the air mine is comically small. Seems to be an after thought.

just got my Bubbles this morning. I have nits to pic for sure. The bubbles on my Bubbles are giving me Trubble. I do not like that the canopy l will not peg in my two.

I am torn. I like all of the heads for this figure and I would love to display all three. I may use that goggle look on other bodies to see what they fit on.

I glued the dog bone missile holders on. Annoyingly popping out all the time.

I have just starting playing around with these. I gotta get some pics. So far I am intrigued. I’m hoping my flight stand idea works.

Thwipp!

Looking forward to my two Trouble Bubbles arriving on Tuesday. I hope they rerelease the Tele-Viper with uncovered arms and the single caucasian head in the future so I can display all three variants.

I'm behind, but I just got Scrap Iron and the Arctic BATs.  Great figures.  Only issues are SI's legs are frozen at the upper joint of the knee (haven't got to fixing that yet) and no place to store the saw blades on AB.  I think AB is my favorite figure since Zarana.

Hope my RnR figure that's been on backorder actually ships and doesn't cancelled.

You know I have started to notice these little lapses in design lately. I find it hard to believe the saw blade attachment wasn’t made to fit in the back pack for the BAT or they didn’t design a new pack that does fit. The Classified line is mostly solid with figures being able to stow their gear. I think it was meant to fit on the side peg facing down but the bulb on the end of the peg of the saw is not big enough. So maybe it’s a factory thing as they just rush out figure after figure as Classified is hot property now.

I am trying to just enjoy them as they come. Arctic BAT did represent that they are going to reuse but have some clever new pieces to keep the line fresh. The Range Viper is another example as it’s mostly using Outback. I just hope they keep watching out for the details. Why doesn’t Snow Serpent have a place to put the knife? The details make this line fun and great to collect.

Thwipp!

Don't mention the Range Viper, I'm still touchy about the whole PP fiasco.  😪

I just received my Trouble Bubble.  What an awesome set!  The person who said to flip the missile pods was spot on.  They labeled them L & R incorrectly, you can see the shape fits the cutout with them upsidedown & backwards.  I was pleasantly surprised to see that the turbine winglets are articulated on a hinge.  Very cool touch.  Lots of awesome little paint & tampo details.  The only other inclusion I could ask for is a laser effect for the nose gun & most especially an integrated flight stand!  I'm gonna have to come up with some way to elevate these guys.

@prophet

I think the knife is supposed to go in snowjob's neck or torso.

looking at the photos of snow job on the pulse site his upper torso has a curved cut in the crouching shot. in the hands up shot there is no upper torso cut...unless it is totally hidden by the harness straps.

@pogo-the-clown It's very well-hidden by the torso strap.
