I have been very good so far this year.  I have been under 50% of my monthly budget (disposable income spend) knowing that I was both cutting back, and going to spend a lot later in the year.  However this month is going to put me close to 100% for the month thanks to the TF Haslab and now the VAMP hitting at the same time.  Not to mention Walmart's Collector Con.  Though I am pretty sure those items won't actually ship until April at the earliest (hopefully). 

Then I looked at April and HOO-BOY!!!  It isn't going to ease up then either.  Already have 2 Techno-Vipers preordered and so much is scheduled to release in April (Metal-Head, rest of Techno-Vipers wave, 60th, Retro).  On top of that I still need to pick up Mutt & Junkyard!!!

UGH.

At least it looks like there will be a couple months break after April until the next waves arrive (hopefully).

@canprime Yeah. March and April are gonna be murder on my finances. Seems these two months are where alot of Joes and other lines I collect are releasing figures. But at least they are all figures I’m going to enjoy. 

Vamp is gonna be cool. Another 013 member added to the collection.  Gonna have Cover Girl ride shotgun until Hasbro comes to their senses  and releases the Wolverine. Rock Roll will man the turret. 

Seems Hasbro Pulse has the Vamp back up for preorder too. 

I've been wanting to get the old vehicles (Joe, Star Wars, MASK) out of the tubs for one last run before I shuffle off into the sunset or bright white lights, but here I am adding bigger versions.

Yeah.... this next 6 to 8 weeks is set to be absolutely nuts...  Not only Joe heavy  (I just got the notice for the VAMP as well) - but also Legends heavy with all 4 Wolverine 2 packs scheduled to ship -  it's about to get brutal.

Just got the VAMP and a few techno-vipers coming. The rest I can wait to get later on.. if I can stay strong, that is.

Vamp, Techno-Viper, Retro Duke and Scarlett...Classified fans going to be eating well over the next couple months!  I really can't get over how good Duke and Scarlett look.  If they're nice quality, they will be some of my favorite toys in the entire collection.  

Pulse has moved Metal-Head, Techno-Viper, Quick Kick, Airborne, and Big Boa up to March 21st.

And the Action Soldier is up to March 14th.

Ouch.

And this is why I have stopped preordering, for the most part.  I can't even imagine what the bill would be for March if I had preordered all of the Classified stuff coming.  Especially at Canadian prices, we currently pay the equivalent of $27US before taxes for a standard figure.  It gets progressively worse as the price point, or figure/vehicle option gets higher.

Either way I do appreciate that they have slightly scaled back the release schedule on Classified after last years flood of figures.  It gives me a chance to catch my breath, and my wallet a chance to refill.

To me I still preorder and manage those when the notices come. Really the only thing I am on any crunch is the VAMP. It’s only sold with Pulse. Granted those sold out things tend to come available again. The rest are things you can get along the way. Quick Kick is awesome but it’s not priority to grab him in March. I mean none of this stuff is priority. But as soon as I saw dates change I cancelled the stuff I think I can wait for. Before it ships it’s still good to cancel. 

If you collect toys in general from Hasbro or other brands there is so much to enjoy and they always come around the same time. I’m getting pumped for checking out the VAMP. Lenny shared those pics many moons ago of the VAMP next to the HISS. So stinking cool! If/When Hasbro does the towable option what would you Fwooshers want to see? We know they will repaint the HMS/MMS. I’ve always liked the HAL (Heavy Artillery Laser). It’s funny that they were lasers thanks to science fiction popularity. It just looks cool though. I like the side mounted gunner seat. I had this gun as a kid. I liked those extending tow arms to give it stability spread apart as lasers have quite the kick back. It was cool. So while I don’t know if there was a repaint for Cobra which doubled its use, I hope this and the ASP come around to go with the VAMPs and Stingers.

@jakeekiss didn't the 25th do the same? I forget. Do you know that the gun plugs in at the bottom? The scope slides in that slot.

@normdapito nah its from the neca dnd trol guy. These last many months since Sept Oct been a mess. I tried to keep things bagged up as I open them, but with all the discounted prices I got overwhelmed with items and must have missed placing things in bags.

@mrboshek it works like that sometimes. I try to hold out, but sometimes I habe no choice cause an item is reaching the deadline .
