You know if someone gets it at Ross for less than I paid, awesome. I’ve been in the times when the disposable income was very limited. If Ross gives someone a shot at getting something that’s wonderful. If I’m browsing Ross I’ll pick a popular figure up if I see another there. I won’t be the guy buying the heavily discounted figures up to army build, I’ve probably already bought the squad I wanted.
I did buy a few more Tiger Force Outback figures just so I can throw some in the Toys for Tots at the end of the year. It was my favorite Classified of 2022. I hope some kid got that figure last Christmas and developed a love for the awesome action soldier in a sweet Tiger shirt. That figure is perfect. Now I hear reports of BATs showing up. If I find some those it will go in the Toys for Tots pile to give away. BATs are awesome! Favorite Classified of 2021 as I got it late that year. Maybe I’ll tape a BAT to TF Outback for a sweet two pack. Shoot if Snow Job shows up somewhere I’ll grab him as he was fave of 2023. It’s fun to share the joy.
Thwipp!
I'm just mad because I don't have Ross or Ollie, just a shit TJMAXXXXX that has like two toys in the entire store. lol.

Try living in Alberta. When you guys are seeing figures on clearance for $5 or $10 US, they're 'clearance' up here for 14 cents under the normal MSRP of approximately 153% of the US MSRP. That gets pretty frustrating sometimes. And by sometimes I mean oh my god all the damn time.
@vicious7171 We're going to be getting quite a bit of Classified in the next month or two, so I don't think your withdrawl is going to last very long.
Retro Duke, Recondo, Scarlett
Airborne, Quick Kick, Big Boa, Techno-Viper
Anniversary Soldier and Diver
Metal Head
VAMP
All between now and April.
I actually just popped into this thread to see if anyone was seeing dates moved up for those upcoming figures cos, while it's really not been THAT long since I got Wolf Spider, it FEELS like I'm in a Joes lull. Some of my Legends preorders are shipping early this week so I'm wondering if the Joes aren't fare behind. Mostly want Retro Scarlett cos I'm still on a quest for a non-movie Scarlett without a stuck hip, hoping the new body fixes the issue I had with the original. Also ready to swap out Tiger Force Recondo for Retro--I love that figure and he's been a permanent fixture on my office desk but I'll swap him out for his classic color scheme when he gets here.
FYI, BBTS has Cover Girl in stock.
@red_ogre Ha, that sounds about right... I finally caved and got her a week ago for a green Lincoln more than msrp.
In other news it looks like Doc, Torch, Jinx, Gnawgahyde and the Night Creeper will be going up for pre-order tomorrow.
A green shirt male and female trooper two pack would be nice for a name drop.
Retro Beachhead looks perfect, but his gun is supposed to be grey.
Green guns again for Beachhead.
Love that ferret driver. Will need a buncha extras for all the coil bikes i've accumulated.
Ferret Driver looks fantastic and that's the size vehicle I do not feel guilty buying and making space for.
I can't tell from the pics - are the retro carded figures the same as the originals or do they have paint variations? I wouldn't hate having a variation of Beachhead and can't resist variations on the troopers (I don't army build anymore but I'll get one of each if they're slightly different, too.)
Edit: Just saw the Classified Series Cobra HISS Techno-Viper and HMS pics and man, this line really does love giving us the little details - the HISS tank will be able to tow this thing, that is wild that they didn't miss a beat including that detail.

They are not the same. I think it's more than paint too, Beachhead looks like a different sculpt.
@threash Thanks - my eyes are going on me, was struggling to spot the differences. Beachhead is one of those guys I have an unreasonable affection for, love that they're giving us a variation instead of a reprint.
