What if the jet thrust effects are for the pivoting VTOL engines on the wings and gives a nice visual when on the flight stand? 

I’m over that hurdle now and back in the hype mode again. It’s gonna be freaking awesome! 

The parachute is very exciting! The Ram Rat is great! Raven is like Glenda a surprise addition. I guess we’ll just get to enjoy some surprises.

If this thing is $300 like the HISS it’s gonna almost fully fund before SDCC ends.

@prophet Yeah maybe the blast effects could also double as a second, smaller, flight stand.   They should, and probably will, include a standard display/flight stand, but a secondary use for blast effects would be kind of cool.

Price wise I am a bit worried that they might try and wiggle a bit more out of us after the success of the last two Haslabs.  Hopefully they can keep it down near the $300US price, but I worry they might try and get more (up to maybe $350US).

It is a bit shorter than the Dragonfly so they definitely have shrunk it a bit for Classified. However it does look incredible.

I like the little touches they included, but I am still a bit miffed at the first tier.   The most expensive Joe Haslab to date and they took away a figure in the tiers and replaced that with.....patches??  Really?  

Nearly at 1,800 backers already.  Oh and the funding period is longer (47ish days versus 45).

Rattler looks great!!  I am going to back. However……yeah….the hell is up with tier 1?  Is there time to change that for possibly another figure or something?  The rest of the package is awesome. Makes my face all bright and smiley until I look at tier 1 and my eyes start squinting. 

Also Wild Weasel’s face looks a bit too heroic to me .  I think I’ll give him Falcon’s original headsculpt once I swap my original Falcon’s with the NF headsculpt. 

I don't think I'll be backing this one but I'm absolutely loving that Baroness!  

On the one hand, it's pretty great that they revealed all the tiers up front, but yeah, those patches shouldn't have been a tier. They're a fun inclusion for sure, but I would've rathered a ground crew or something. 

Plus, where's my Baroness pin-up nose art sticker sheet? 

Honestly, though, I don't get these for the figures. The HISS tactician and Mickey Mouse Cobra Commander never came out of their boxes, and I don't have any interest in Glenda, Crazy Legs or Ripcord when they get here. 

I doubt pilot Baroness will ever see the light of day (other than to maybe steal that up-do hairpiece for someone else.)

I thought this thread would be blowing up.  I started a new job last week so my lazy internet time is waaaay less than it was, and as such I haven't been able to keep up with things.  Still, I made sure to keep an eye out for this all day today.  I think this will probably be a "back it now, decide whether to keep it later" for me, which is a bummer.  I've always loved the Rattler and Wild Weasel but the tiers here are pretty ho-hum.  I don't need another Baroness, especially not one that wasn't in the vintage line.  The gunner is ok but quite plain and the patches are the first time I've felt like the GI Joe team doesn't want to be friends with me.  Those are such a "they'll buy it anyway, we don't need to try" inclusion.  This thing might have funded already if it weren't for those.

That thing is insane. I've skipped all the HasLabs. I'll probably skip this one just based on my own perception of value being diminished by the vast difference in price to get this in Canada. But still.. it's very tempting. I've always been in love with Joe planes. They're almost universally my favorite vehicles in the entire brand, and the Rattler is a classic, of course. If this had been the Conquest - I'd almost certainly get it. This one is easier to ignore, but not a LOT easier. So ... maybe.

Absolutely insane to say it, but it feels like it should be just a tiny bit bigger - especially for the price. Not like it's already not so big that I'd have nowhere to put it.. but still.

It feels scaled down a bit compared to the original, but it certainly doesn't need to be bigger. Sad there wasn't a second battle damage panel like the original, but to be fair I don't recall ever swapping those out as a kid.

Just got a chance to look at this and thankfully there isn't much there to pull me in. This project is actually the opposite of the Dragonfly Haslab for me.

I think the jet itself is pretty nice even if a bit stubby. I like the foldable wings and all the extra bits. It's gonna look real good up on the stand all tricked out.

What really loses me are the figures and the patches tier. The Baroness looks good but not as good as I pictured in my head and definitely not something I feel I need. Not a fan of the Wild Weasel or gunner figures at all. I'm guessing we'll get a more classic Wild Weasel down the line.

And patches? What am I gonna do with those?

Liked that leaked list with Cobra paratrooper and female Raven pilot a lot more.

The four figures are what pushed me to back the Dragonfly, which I wasn't super high on. Here, the lack of any really compelling figures is gonna keep me from backing.

The good news for Hasbro is that they sure don't need me. It's probably gonna be at 7,000+ backers by midnight on the east coast.
