@nightwolf I’m from the US, and I have some notes as well. For the sake of this not seeming like a personal attack (it’s not, btw), I’ll keep it to one main criticism of your review:

STOP SAYING WOMEN AREN’T HOT ENOUGH.

The woman who plays Lois Lane is very attractive- she’s a Hollywood actress. Also, why would it matter even if she weren’t attractive by your standard? The idea that Superman would even base his relationship on getting the most attractive mate something is contrary to the character. Superman is with Lois because she’s smart, fearless, and driven. People saying she’s not hot enough for Supes are usually just the fans projecting what they would do if given the same power and influence as Superman. You’re failing the hero test in real time with comments like that.

Anyway, I loved the movie- best Superman movie by far. It gave people hope when they really need it, it defied the online comic movie critic haters in its performance, and it was a balance of both action and drama you can’t punch your way out of.

My only criticism is that they even used the Engineer character specifically in the movie. I’m a fan of Stormwatch and want to see that and/or the Authority make it to film one day, and that concept wont really work as well if she’s introduced as a Luthor associate.
