This final season of What If...? picks up speed as it goes along. Eps 3 and 5 play off of events, and eps 4 and 7 pick up from past events in the What If...? series itself. Ep 7 is the first of the 2-episode finale.
I would be tempted by another wave of What If...? figures if we got Kahori, Darcy and the two characters introduced in Ep 7.
Watcher-fu!
If that truly is the end of What If...? it wrapped things up nicely I felt. I may go back and watch the "mythology" episodes that tie into the overall story at some point.
Does anyone have a theory as to how to reconcile What If...? and Loki takes on the multiverse?
Just finished What If S3. I thought episodes 5, 7, and 8 were fantastic but the rest really did not do it for me. Not sad to see this series go even if it did end on a high note. I'd take an ML Kahorri for sure though. Storm Thor too.
@mr-potatohead Thank you for the alert! Heh, none of my nerd friends had seen it yet. When I saw your post, I thought "well, they showed White Tiger in the first one...", but no... they SHOW him. Awesome.
Wonder how long in the season before they kill him off and what's-her-face takes over.
If I were to guess, he is killed this season and one of the what's her faces takes over next season. OR... she gets a spinoff, which I'm sure will make some groan but I'd be all for it. Hispanic family that passes this vigilante mantle around like a family business could make for a great series.
Nice concept for a series.
Thank you.
It's basically a less comedic Gentefied only instead of a restaurant, it's masked crime-fighting heh.
Speaking of women jumping around in white outfits kicking tail, I wish we could get Henwick back at some point. She was great.
I agree. A Heroes For Hire show really would be welcome, maybe continuing from the endings of Luke Cage and Iron Fist. I really think both characters would be exponentially better when combined. Bring their supporting casts and mix it all together. Matt cameo, Kingpin supporting antagonist in a few episodes, maybe a soft reboot of The Hand.
The DD trailer hooked me.
I see they went the Deadpool rout with the trailer just replacing f-bombs with compound fractures. So as to say, "Please don't worry just because it's Disney now, we're still going to do all the 'edgy' stuff from before".
Watched the new Spider-Man show. That was...whatever. Hope Hasbro is smart enough to not make these figures. They won't sell them.
Also read some spoilers about the ending...and it sounds even worse than The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with Andrew Garfield...
Multiverse spider who bites Peter. How fucking original. At this point just made a Miles Morales tv show...
I thought it was fine. Nothing amazing but some fun references, visual and otherwise, to the classic comics.
