Looks good, but I've been tricked by trailers before so we'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah, showing Red Hulk was an interesting choice, but probably no way that wouldn't have leaked (or been assumed at least).

Spoiler
Some speculation and thoughts based partly on rumors

Rumors are that there is going to be countries fighting over Tiamuts body which will be mined for its elements, like Adamantium. Interesting as that is an element tough enough to pierce the skin of a Hulk.

I am kind of hoping that we get that Red Hulk sequence early. It is set in DC, which seems to also be the start of the film (but given Ross, not like revisiting DC would be odd), so maybe whatever is going on at the start triggers Red Hulk? Otherwise, kind of a shame if it is at the end of the film but we are expecting it.

I will be disappointed if the Serpent Society has been cut, as rumored.

How they handle Sam will be interesting. They need to not have him do things a "normal" human couldn't do unless the suit's augmentation is clearly explained. I felt that hurt the end of Falcon and the Winter Soldier a bit when he was holding up the truck with his backpack.

I think the big question is whether we get any Kang connection - pulling the strings of Val or Ross or maybe he is Sharon's "Power Broker", a plot thread that needs to be revisited here if ever - if there is no Kang here than I will believe they have set him aside, but he makes sense to be destabilizing things behind the scenes to start the Kang Empire...[/spoiler]

I know it will not happen, but Disney would be wise I think to consider doing a "directors cut" of Falcon and Winter Soldier and reinstate the rumored deleted plotline of the virus, which is in there but hidden. I think removing that caused narrative flow and motivation problems, at least that is my guess.

I agree it won't happen, but it would be amazing to get a new cut of F&WS. Maybe even cut it into a movie.

Rewatched the two Deadpool films and Logan in prep for the new film. Gotta say that Logan was such a good sendoff for Wolverine there is a part of me that wishes we didn't see him again.

I wonder if we get X-23 and Negasonic Teenage Warhead into the main MCU, and if so, maybe we can add them to my hypothetical Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, Yelena, Shuri, She Hulk, America Chavez, Cassie and Iron Heart team - although at that point we have 10 members, and that may be too much....

@fac I'd be all for that but

Spoiler
D&W spoiler, according to one performer

Dafne Keen makes it sound like she's not in this. I know Andrew Garfield said he wasn't in No Way Home as well, so one never knows.

Either way, that would be QUITE the team.

Spoiler
It's in the latest Deadpool trailer but anyway

So Dafne Keen is the best liar since Andrew Garfield.

I mean... I was pretty sure that had to be the case.  Still nice to have some confirmation.

The rumors of the Russo Bros being in talks to handle Avengers 5 and 6 excite me. They did a great job before I thought.

@fac same here. I take it as more than rumor though if the Hollywood Reporter said it.

Yeah -  Winter Soldier and Infinity War are two of the best movies Marvel has made and the Russos were in charge of both of those so this is nothing but good.     Frankly Civil War was pretty good to.   The Russos haven't made a bad Marvel movie and they have handled the large cast dynamics pretty well.

It will be interesting to see them work with the new blood though.

Kevin Feige said:

Yes, by all means! Go for it!

@fac If by great you mean superb, then I agree. Both Cap movies and both Avengers movies they did are at the top of my favorite marvel movies. The Russo's are great at what they do.

@tfitz How dare you sir put words in my mouth! If I wanted to say superb, I'd have said superb. Merely "great" says I. 😆

Those four are probably the best I agree, but the first IM, Cap, BP, Avengers and Guardians are probably up there as well. Lots of quality in the Thanos phases to be sure.

I do want to give some credit to the writing team for the four Russo films as well. We will see how they do with a different writing team.

@fac the last rumor I saw was something about Markus and McFeely (the cap movies, Avengers 3&4, dark world) being split up between avengers 5&6.
