I'd like to see one last Hawkeye run, they need to clean up whatever the story is between his wife and Kingpin.
I assume Vision would be in Secret Wars.Â
I thought Moon Knight succeeded more from the direction/style than the writing, but I am guessing they have a major rewrite happening.
Yeah, Moon Knight wasn't my favorite and I only watched it once, but in my mind it was one of the better shows. I also had never read any comics with the character, so going in cold may have been a benefit.
There's a really good case to be made that in Moon Knight the mental institution was the true reality. I don't think Marvel has the balls to make that the case though.Â
/Moon Knight traditionally doesn't really have powers. If it was later revealed he was just imagining them too, the whole thing would fit in the wider MCU better. He'd be a total loon dressing up, beating the crap out of people and imagining superpowers, gods and giant crocodiles.Â
The upcoming Marvel schedule for the next three years is now:
7/26/24 - Deadpool
2/14/25 - Captain America: Brave New World
5/2/25 - Fantastic Four
7/25/25 - ThunderboltsÂ
11/7/25 - Blade
2/13/26 - Untitled Marvel Movie
5/1/26 - Avengers: Kang Dynasty
7/24/26 - Untitled Marvel Movie
11/6/26 - Untitled Marvel Movie
5/7/27 - Avengers: Secret Wars
But subject to change, especially those Avenger movies.
Oooohhhh... is Thunderbolts done? I know there are unrevealed slots, but the lack of Armor Wars, Shang-Chi 2, Eternals 2 or follow-ups to Strange or Panther seems so odd.
When is F4 supposed to start shooting? Because if not... now... they will have learned nothing about treating VFX workers better.
And I know it's Sony, but seriously - make a Spidey mov(i)e!
Damnit. I left Thunderbolts off! It's scheduled for 7/25/25 but hasn't even started filming yet. I think FF starts shooting this summer. And Sony is definitely planning another Spider-Man with Marvel but I don't think they're ever listed on the Disney release schedules, which is where this came from.
Watched The Marvels again, and I am still wondering if this was supposed to occur before Secret Invasion. Two things really stand out.
1 - No acknowledgement at all of Fury's wife - who is supposed to be up on the station with him, and I heard no reference to Maria Hill being dead, Talos being dead...
2 - The sequence where Valkyrie comes and gets the Skrull refugees could easily have been a sequence where Talos gets them originally, which was redone after the order of release changed. Especially as we have virtually no evidence that Valkyrie and Carol even knew each other.
Narrative-wise, in Secret Invasion, having the Skrull uprising makes a lot more sense if there had been an influx of Skrulls from another planet that Fury was unaware of (as it was brokered by Talos and Carol) and maybe some of the Skrull frustration was that they had hoped to leave Earth and go to the other planet of refugees, which got upended by the events in The Marvels.
You may be entirely right, I have no evidence either way. And it's certainly logical, but as a cynic I lean more toward "nah, the two productions weren't communicating", a la WandaVision/Multiverse of Madness. I will argue that evidence of Carol and Valkyrie knowing each other isn't really necessary as we had the same thing with Valkyrie and Hulk in Ragnarok. We see them interacting after they've already met and gotten friendly.
References to Maria Hill and Talos being dead probably would have added many seconds to the runtime and they clearly were shaving it down as hard as they possibly could. 😀Â
"worst ripoff" is a fantastic category. I assume Rebel Moon is a shoe in for next year. And I think it's unfair for Douglas and Murray to be nominated like that when it was the script and editing that did then dirty. But that script should probably win razzies even in categories that aren't applicable.
Matt Shakman posted on his Instagram
About Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards
Then he deleted his IG account.
Huh...
This was posted but apparently it's already been debunked as the one used in Deadpool 3
It's certainly nice though.
